I love that Harry has Sirius! Because of that he shouldn't fall for any of Dumbledore's plans. Is it wrong of me to hope he doesn't become friends with Ron? Although it would be good to catch Peter right away, I hope that Harry finds someone who will take their schooling more seriously. Maybe a different house, with a Head of House that actually listens and pays attention to their students? Excellent update! Thank you for your wonderful new chapter! Can't wait for more!

Harry is so lucky that at least one of his parent's friends cared enough about him to take care of him. I hope that when Sirius was warning Harry about people to watch out for, he mentioned Dumbledore. I do wonder what Sirius' reaction will be if it's Hagrid that comes to show Harry around Diagon Alley? I can't imagine that would go over too well. Outstanding new chapter! Can't wait for more!

Thank goodness Harry has Sirius! With the amount of help Remus is, meaning none, Harry would have been helpless in all of Dumbledore's manipulations. It is wonderful that Harry at least has Sirius to keep him safe. If not for him, Harry wouldn't have anyone to depend on. I wonder if Dumbledore is going to be disappointed when he realizes that Harry won't be willing to be his pawn or won't trust him unconditionally? Fabulous new chapter! Out of all your AN's I have to say that the fact that nothing will be happening between Harry and his shadow until he's 15, and even then non-sexual.... Well that's extremely disappointing.

I don't want to, I really don't want to, but I feel sorry for Petunia. I can't imagine how she must feel losing her whole family. I wonder if that is one of the reasons why she is holding on to Harry so tight? Thank goodness at least she isn't blaming him. Sirius was wonderful going to Remus, too bad it didn't do any good. Remus is more worried about himself and his safety than poor Harry. I am so glad that Harry has Sirius! His life is so much better with his influence! I can't wait for Dumbledore to meet your Harry. Won't he be disappointed that his pawn won't be so easy to manipulate. Absolutely amazing update! Please post again soon!

Now this is very interesting... if this site had a fav button, i'd so be putting this story on it.
it's an interesting twist... i've only seen the 'live in guardian for har' idea three times, with this being the third. One was a ghost, one was wiggy death eater and then this one. This has been the most unique approach and watching in interest to see where it goes from here.
