I do like that Harry is at least listening more to Draco as he explains things. Draco seems to understand how Harry thinks and feels more than anyone including them realize.

Ah this was such a great fic.i loved the fact Harry didn't just accept the bond right away. Can't wait to read more. Thank you for writing it!:)

Good chapter! Draco gave Harry sound advice. What I don't understand is why Hermione didn't tell him something similar. She's intelligent enough to know that bottling strong emotions only leads to eventual explosion of them.

You know Harry needs a push in the right direction.

I would be forced to agree with Draco. But that doesn't mean I don't love the way you display the similarities - the crooning and the body language in particular.

And the mental image of Draco cuddling an egg? Fantastic. I wish I could draw...

Another fantastic chapter, darling! Poor Draco, he just can't seem to get through to Harry that being 'submissive' is not the same thing as being a 'slave'...

I love the way that Harry's not just accepting the Veela bond. I've read quite a few VeelaDrarry fics that have Harry just blindly agreeing to a bond with Draco. To be honest your story is a welcome change for someone to have finally made a fic that captures Harry's nativity about the wizarding world. The only thing I can't help but wonder is... Will this story have a happy ending?

I've been away from the site for quite a bit and just went on today and came across this lovely story. You always write the best fics! I could not stop reading! I'm slightly disappointed to have caught up to the latest update. I just want to commend you on the excellent characterization of everyone and the nice progression of draco and harry's relationship.
(I believe it was in ch7) One of the moments I especially enjoyed reading over and over was the scene in which Harry lost his temper with Draco and coldly told him his opinion of the bond:how he views it as just an obstacle, to his larger goal, that he is only dealing with. I'm slightly embarrassed to admit that I actually read the words outloud and yearned for someone with the proper drama training to read Harry

Draco has some... remarkably cute moments. The end here being a perfect example.

I am curious to get some more details on your Veela (everyone does them differently). Much like Harry in 'Keep This Wolf', you do a fantastic job of displaying the characteristics of the animals related to the species. Somehow most people MISS that JKR related Veela to birds...
