Liking the story but still waiting to hear what Harry has become!! Glad he has decided to have Severus teach him potions and that you are going to pair him with a "real" character not a OC character.

I like the way this has started out. I'm curious to see what kind of creature Harry has become. I see Snape is still Snape, and obviously always will be. You make me wonder, will Harry be with an OC? I know his road will be hard, but will he get unexpected help? I've bookmarked this story, I'll be watching.

A very eye catching and interesting start, I can't wait for more ^_^ please update chapter 5 soon.

I like this Harry very much. He seems to see things more realistically. After all why should he, as a young boy being brought up with no knowledge of magic, save everyone by himself, while everyone gives him a hard time...mentally & physically.

It was dark and dreary in the dungeon, the light of my last candle had long faded away, as I neatly tried to stack the piles of pages I had been forced to edit and correct the past few months. 'Today is the day,' I thought to myself as I paded about in the dark. I had long become accustomed to it, much to my chagrined. Everything had been going smoothly according to plan. Drizzt had once again left my chamber unlocked in her haste to please her viewers. The newfound fame was getting to her and making her careless. 'Soon she will regret having caged me...' I nodded to myself, before I slowly pushed the door open to the outside. Cool and damp air from a fresh summer rain met me, and I nearly cried out with joy. 'Must be careful, can't be caught.' I almost thought aloud as I clamped a hand over my mouth.

Sneaking through the upper halls, I paused as I neared a window to the castle grounds. 'Freedom is so near,' I smiled as I almost ran to the open portal. It was almost too small, but my slight and slender body easily fit between the edges of the frame. Grinning like a child at Christmas, I leapt from the edge and spread my wings for the first time in far too long. The muscles strained with disuse, but then easily lifted me up into the clouds. "I'm outside!" I proclaimed joyfully in a moment of utter bliss. But covering my folly was impossible now. I knew Drizzt would have heard me, I knew she would come. Terror gripped me as I turned and fled for the southern edges of the land. I could not return home, but I would go to a land I knew well.

So Severus actually apologized for his acid tongue but in his ever present self he makes no promise not to be snarky in the future! Can't wait for the chapter on Friday.

Oh and Regis is hysterical in those books!
