So Harry has the backing of at least one wizarding department at the Ministry but Anne is still being a bitch. Poor Harry is even lonelier now that he doesn't have Ethan to fall back on and Andromeda is now truly regretting her unknowingly inconsiderate words. She's still being pushy about it because she doesn't understand Harry as well as she should. I can't wait until both Harry and Draco realize just how much they need each other in their lives. They were never more alive than in school and "pretending" to be rivals.

plan of action.

What an absolutely wretched woman. It's no wonder her granddaughter isn't being helped. She won't let anybody do anything that might affect her standing whether or not it's in the best interest for her granddaughter. She's more worried about how people would perceive her or her family than her own granddaughter. Nasty piece of work that one.

I never thought about how stunted Harry's growth, physical and emotional would be because of the way he was brought up. He wasn't raised, educated and cared for, with a "home" to fall back on if he needed it. He brought himself up really and figured things and situations out as best he could with what he'd pieced together. His friends weren't much help really despite what he thinks because they are the same age and had their own problems...similiar but not as bad by far. Ron was "bottom" of his family and so jealous, envious and hanging on to Harry as his way into the "big important things". Hermione hung on because Harry didn't mind her being so smart and not knowing how to stop being offensive about it. They both used him as much or more than anything. Draco was and always had been much more open and honest about his feelings. At least he thought about their relationship...the what's, why's and depths of it past and present. The other two just took it and Harry as if they owned him exclusively.

I like it! :) just enjoying the ride as usual. Bravo!

So Draco has convinced Harry tomlook beyond the boundaries of his perception of friends and maybe include him in it. Draco is really starting to have deeper feelings for Harry but he is not ready to go down that road yet, and if Harry is having a hard time just thinking about being "friends" with Draco, he would running screaming into the hills if Draco said he might want something more! I believe in the end dado will be very good for Harry.

Ladies & Gentlemen, we have a breakthrough. :-)

I am very surprised that Harry allowed Draco to come to his first meeting with Brandeis and even more at how muh he actually disclosed. Draco h to be shaken and how all of his preconceived notions of Harry's life were possibly shattered in just a small amount of time. Should make for an interesting conversation.
