I liked Draco more in this chapter, maybe because he has to deal with Hermione's dislike or MacGonagall's distaste of him. Good chapter!

Well I think Draco made a great first step by being civil with his house elf. House Elf "rights" in my opinion is a very grey area.

I always like Draco when he's been humbled. But I find it believable that he would also have to bite back retorts when others tried to put him in his place. I'd love to read more of this in the near future!
