Ch. 1 Addendum Aargh! I still messed up in that review! Okay, so: //"Someplace where he’ll be trained to take up the mantel of Lord Potter and fit into society,” James agreed, looking thoughtful. . . .// Should be "mantle." A mantel is the structure built above a fireplace. ~Debbie

Ch. 2 Wow, so much going on in this chapter. I know I've read this story before as it was being posted, but it's been a while and my recollection of details is vague. Thank goodness Minister Bagnold is a sensible woman and will allow Sirius a trial. ~Debbie

Ch. 6 Well, I thought I had left a review at the end of the Death Eater trials, but apparently it didn't go through. Let's hope this one does! Minister Bagnold's questioning of the accused Death Eaters was succinct and to the point, but I think covered everything pertinent. I'm glad that Snape appears to be free from Dumbledore's clutches, but I'm sure that wily (and in this fic, evil?) manipulator has a few tricks up his ridiculously flamboyant sleeves. Actually, I hope I'm misremembering that Algie Longbottom is very much under Albus's thumb and does his bidding in ways I won't go into in case I'm confusing this with another story. Anyway, it's good to see the Black family coming together. // 'I, Sirius Orion Black, Viscount Dyntagell, do hereby declare the marriage between Bellatrix Black Lestrange to be null and void. . . ."// Um, "between" requires another person's name: Rabastan or Rodolphus Lestrange (never can remember which one she married, lol). Or, simply, "I . . . declare the marriage OF Bellatrix Black Lestrange to be null and void." ~Debbie

Ch. 7 Wonderful chapter! Usually I skim over rituals, but this one was short and to the point, no unnecessarily elaborate preparations. Loved the addition of Lily. ~Debbie

I am so glad you are back and updating this story. It has become one of my favorites and I have looked forward to an update for some time. While I normally like Dumbledore, I was quite unsatisfied with how JK portrayed him and I look forward to seeing him get his comeuppance. Keep up the excellent story telling.

Excellent story. I love reading stories regarding the Legalities of Harry's guardianship. Anything to trick old Dumbles out of his chance to influence Harry potter. I am currently writing my first HP story which also gives guardianship of harry to someone else other than Sirius and Dunbles.

omg, this first chapter is beautiful. It's just so beautiful how it sets everything up to fuck with Dumbledore's plans. I'm going to love the look on his face! ( i love how i say this like i'm going to see it in person,hahah, but still, I can see it in my head, and it's perfect)

This is interesting, I've never read a story that actually includes minister bagnold (did I spell that right?), so that's different, and good. I like. =P
