Awesome!! Of course the boys would react like that. Harry to protect and Ron wants her but not the changes. Plus he is a bigot just as bad as Malfoy was.

One question: what will she call the Grangers now that she has decided to call her biological parents 'mom and dad'? Just give me something to use as a place holder to keep this more realistic in my head. ;)

I absolutely love the way you are presenting everything! I could never picture a Hermione that would cast away her parents for anything. I also think it is wonderful that you are allowing the characters to establish some kind of bond before the school year. I am excited to see what happens next!
