The Long Road is so perfect. Snupin is my personal favorite and this is Snupin at it's very best; Sev is not out of character (in my opinion) in any sense yet the story sheds a light on him that highlights his intricacies and the tragedy inside him and while Lupin's character doesn't show at first he is carefully being glued back together as the story progresses, which is one sob fest after another. As for the plot, I could die happy seeing the pieces be put together (plot wise and the two wizards-wise) so brilliantly. I can't give enough praise, I just love this story so much and seeing it updated when it is makes (updates are consistent and quick, might I add) my week worth it! I am spreading word of this story to my potter-head friends like wildfire, because it's necessary everyone reads it. Fred? He is golden. I need more of this story ASAP!

I've stumbled upon this fic couple of days ago... which meant I had to read it all in one go till 3 a m. :-) I like that you're taking your time with them, gradually introducing their past into the story, slowly getting them to understand each other. In Teddy's words: neat!

I have really enjoyed this story so far. I look forward to more. Nice to read a new take on the aftermath of the war.

I hope we find out soon what the bond is like. Hopefully it'll be something more freeing than they expect, and Severus will get to realize that he really has changed for the better. And maybe Remus will finally realize that Snape's kindness is sincere and not going anywhere, and that he can be himself without fear.

Regarding chapter 29--> so excited to see the Bonding ritual almost complete and Remus surprised by Snape's gentleness. I expect it will take a while for Remus to heal mentally from the abuse, but it would be nice to see him put Harry in his place for being so hot tempered.

OHHMYGOSH that was so gooood! Exactly the way it should have happened. When Remus called him Severus I totally whisper-shouted "yesss!" At my computer. Well done :)

This was an amazing start to the ritual! I think both their reactions are very fitting for their characters in this situation. I'm on the edge of my seat to see what happens next! Please continue soon!

I am officially obsessed with your story. I've read the whole thing twice, and some of the chapters four or five times. I'm so excited to see what happens next! Also, I love that your plot leaves a lot of room for interesting things after the ritual. Like, we know at least there will be the scene at the full moon. There's no sign that it'll all just run out of steam after the ritual is over. I mean, not that you have to make it book-length, that's a lot of work...but you could make it a full novel, if you wanted to. There's a lot of depth.
