Every time I checked and there is no new chapter I am scared that you deserted the story. Please let us know that you are going to finish it :)
I can't wait to see what is going to happen next.

The violence was not too much for me, although it did have me cringing.  I think it adds some depth to the story where we are inside Severus's pain and understanding his torment.  Good job.  Please, update soon.  I'm hoping Draco, Harry and Remus are successful to some extent in getting Snape out of there early.

Just wanted to throw this out here--

I've officially signed up to be a beta at a dramione fic site I follow (yup, I ship it), and I thought I'd go ahead and offer my humble services here. I'm not really an author myself (plot ideas don't come easily to me), but I've got a real knack for grammar and spelling, and I've always loved helping my friends revise their work. Obviously, I love this story, and I think you're doing a fantastic job with it. But sometimes life gets busy and you're sick of rereading a draft and it would just be nice to have somebody else to check for missing commas. So, if you ever happen to find yourself in need of such a person - for line editing, or copy editing, or whatever else might be useful - feel free to shoot me an email.

So that was quite the chapter. For some reason the first death reallt disturbed me, more than anyother things that happened to Severus. Part of me was hoping you wouldn't go into the details for his torture after the throat slitting. I don't know how I feel about Severus' mental state and how he seems to be taking the torture better then I would expect someone who has peices of themselves cut off. Is he just that mentally strong to still be sassy about his torture or is it unbeleivible? Part of me is happy he is this way, we see past his pain and get only his strength....glimpses of hope. Seeing him break wouldn't be right, not intront of Lanning anyway.

I just hope Sev doesnt have to stay there the whole time.... and the boys can find a way to get him home.

PS love the jar idea..that little peice that brings Teddy and Remus comfort. Very cute, and makes Remus determination to save his master all the more relatable. (Not that we didnt want to save Sev in the first place)

Please update soon!

More story, hoorah! I realized I'd forgotten to check for a while and then I was almost afraid to, in case nothing had changed...but it has, and I'm so glad you've kept on keeping on. After all these months, I've become rather attached to your boys - I know you've borrowed them from J.K., but now it's your versions of them that I'm so fond of - and it would be too sad if their story just abruptly cut off. I think I've talked enough about your skill in past chapters that anything else would mostly be redundant at this point, but I may as well mention that I've been reading other fics recently and coming back to yours was so lovely in comparison. Yes, there are a number of other talented authors on this site, but there are also many, many more who just really don't come anywhere close to your level of craftsmanship. And, your eye for detail continues to be spot on. I've realized through reading other works that it's not just about elaboration; it's about having a feel for the pacing of a story, choosing when to paint with broad strokes and when to slow down and pull out the fine-tipped brush, and you've been consistently nailing it. Oh, also, your Draco is adorable, and I completely want to marry him.

Woah. Um. Woah. I...somehow missed chapter 49 when I first checked for updates. And at first I thought "oh good, it's like a bonus chapter!" but...I have no words.

It took all of one paragraph before all my muscles were tense and I was mentally shouting panicky things in my head. When that random bystander woman showed up I felt myself physically scowl vivaciously at my computer screen, and when Lanning had the nerve to stroll over and say anything that could be described as fucking CHEEKY I actually snarled a loud "Oh, FUCK YOU." (Yes, you have driven me to dizzingly new heights of profanity. It only got worse from there.)

I couldn't watch. But I had to. But I couldn't. But I did.

(Were you intending to actively torture the reader, or are you just a horrifyingly powerful word-wielder who knows not what she/he does?)

i think I had other comments. But after that ending my thoughts have been torn into tiny, sad little bits. I usually reread all your chapters, but that is simply not going to happen this time. Not that, from a writing or plot development standpoint, the chapter was at all "bad". On the contrary it was quite effective. I'd begun to assume I knew what to expect from this story and could just calmly absorb each new installment.

Clearly I was mistaken.

I think I'm just gonna go reread that chapter with all the pretty rainbow bubbles for a while.
