Great premise for a story and it was handled with feeling! Very good job. Pleasure to re-read it. A ssequel would be nice or more stories...enjoy your view of Sev/Harry and gang. You write about unrealistic things realistically.

I like this very much - it's very peaceful, despite the traumas at the beginning, and it seems very believable that the combination of abuse and malnutrition in Azkaban has left Snape with low-level clinical depression rather than rage, because he hasn't the energy to do rage. He's wrong if he thinks Dd's death was pointless, though. If he had failed to fulfill his vow he would have died, and even if he thinks in his depression that that wouldn't have mattered, it was his authority which got Greyback out of the school and away from the students, and Dd was dying anyway and would only have been killed by one of the other DEs if Snape had not.

I just want to say that I have rarely read anything as beautifully conceived and crafted as this story. I'm so glad I found it. Thank you for writing it. I mean that sincerely. It is a beautiful work of art.

This story is absolutely wonderful! It is so heartbreaking and hopeful at the same time. I love the idea of Hogwarts as a sentient being and that they all stayed loyal to her. Also, I think that the present tense POV you use is something people don't pull of well too often, but you did a great job. I don't think there's a single thing I didn't love about it.
