This is so sweet! I actually read the whole thing today. It was pretty crappy what they did to set up Draco and Harry but I love those moments where Harry is AWARE of Draco even though he isn't thinking about what that means. When he was embarrassed by finding the both of them with no shirts on, when Draco caught him staring at him, when they grab each others hand to lead the other somewhere, when Harry got upset at the clerk at the bookstore who was rude to Harry... All those little scenes have not been sexualized and it shows a growing unconscious awareness that is just... SWEET! I love that. I look forward to more :)
And I haven't read the reviews so I'll make a guess about the potion Lucius is giving Harry... something to make him capable of having kids (best guess), or something to make him compliant. Don't think it would be to slowly kill him because that would make them all look bad but if he thinks that the boys won't get along maybe he figures that he will only get one shot to get an heir when they consummate the bonding ceremony.

Hmmm... now after reading some of the reviews... maybe he is trying to poison Harry. Then after the marriage Draco can play the grieving widow, they will get all of Harry's money and properties, and Draco can be free to marry a nice little pure-blood witch. But I still don't think that would be very smart so that theory only works if Lucius is stupid and short-sighted (which actually he has been before lol) But he is already getting enough hate mail as it is and for the reputation and influence Harry can bring by being alive... he is worth more alive than dead and it's their reputation and political clout that Lucius is trying to regain. And poison could leave traces. Maybe a compliant Harry is the better guess... then the magical world will be happy for Harry because he seems happy with Draco and the Malfoy name will gain status. Or the baby theory. *sigh* I'm going to keep trying to guess aren't I?

I feel bad for Harry, never having a say in his own life, that's got to be a pain. Then there is what Lucius is planning by feeding Harry that potion, what's it for? And I have to agree with Blaise, there also something that Dumbledore wants from Harry too besides his money and properties..... wonder what it is? Please update chapter 5 soon.

It's not making sense to me why Harry & Draco don't just go to one of Harry's properties - the ones that the contract states goes to Dumbledoor & Mr Malfoy ifvthe contractmis broken . Is Harry just so shaken up about what's happening that he doesn't realize that he has other places to go ?
I can see Draco wanting to stay to know what his father is up to , but not Harry .

Is it too much to hope that either Harry or Draco realizes that he is being dosed with potions? I can't imagine that Draco wants Harry to be influenced that way rather than learning to work together.

chapters 1-3: So good. A little different plot or same sort of idea handled a bit uniquely. Really looking forward to the rest of the story. Like Draco being himself yet like a grown up self and Narcissa being a nice person also. They are sort of like Malfoy Normal or Malfoy At Ease while Lucius is Malfoy Intense or Malfoy Royal.

Ch. 1&2
A good start; it definitely captured my interest. I don't believe I've ever run across quite this premise before. I noticed a few errors:
". . . Hermione had offered to come over and see him off too, but Harry had written back, telling her not to; he didn't think he could have bared to see her worried face. . . ." Should be "could have borne...."
". . . Harry could see they lead out of the house, into what he could only assume was the Manor ground and gardens." Should be "led."
". . .We will start this out slow, with you and Mr. Potter being seen in public as friends; in a few months, when your closeness has become accepted, you two will be seen as more then friends. . . ." More *than* friends.
Eager to read the next update.

Can't wait for more, Lucius' reaction to Draco's plan should prove to be interesting and let's not forget how old Dumble's is going to take it seeing how he want's to still control Harry's life as well. Hope more comes soon.

Chapters 1-2: Terrific start. Sounds very interesting. It does make me wonder what Lucius will do now that the story is starting to leak out about the boys or rather ythe young men.
