Wow... That sure didn't take long for Harry to pretty much get over all the happened. Personally this feels as if James cares more about Severus than he does Harry. While this may not be true it sure as heck seems like it. Does James even want to spend time with Harry, just Harry, and get to know him? Try to get to know the son he was never there for? I'm glad that the two are reunited and its wonderful but damn. This just, idk.
It's not a horrible story- I do like bits of it, I just think that it'd take more than just James telling Harry what he wants.

Ch. 1-4
Very interesting premise. The main thing that strikes me is that James isn't acting in a very paternal manner. Instead of trying to help Harry get through his shock and grief over Dumbledore's death and his return from the dead, he basically abandons him in the infirmary to go with Snape. To be fair, everyone else left the infirmary too, but he doesn't seem to be showing much concern for his son.
