You are such a meanie not to tell us the sentence! Loving this story. Harry and Snape are having the hardest time adjusting but with their personalities they feel things the strongest...the negative especially.

I've been thinking carefully about this, because I know that this is an odd way to think about it...but it is nonetheless true. If you consider it truthfully, Severus and Draco weren't just the rapists in this story, but they were also raped. Not in the penetrative sense no...but they had no choice in what happened to them, and they were forced to do it to survive. It would be no different from a woman forcing a man to have sex with her against his will. Just because he's the stronger of the two, doesn't follow that he wasn't raped, even though most men would never claim that they had been. If Draco and Severus hadn't been at the mercy of a bond that forced them to do this than they might be rapists, plain and simple, but that's just not the case here.
I don't know if that helps or hinders your story, but it was a fact that was distracting me and so I thought I might put it out here.
Thanks for another challenging chapter. I am very glad to see the men all working together. To see Severus trying to be the mature man that he should be is very reassuring, and Draco has been more surprising still. They're giving Harry very good advice that he'd do well to listen to. I've enjoyed this story very much for its complexities and intrigue. Great job!

about #17..

I just got to say..[and excuse my rough French], but yo' azz be showin' off now!!! :-)

Look at you! You've gotten better at writing ACTIVE action scenes, damn and to think I remember
when you wouldn't touch an action scene with a ten foot pole!

Now if only I can get you to do a Quidditch scene...and don't say you can't do it. You can...you
just need to flesh out the scene as you write it. :-p

But this was a good scene and I swear Harry acts like he'll fall for Draco before Severus. Also, I
feel Severus understands Harry a bit more, after that emotional scene.

That was a hard road for Harry to travel. A road full of huge bumps and pitfalls, and the constant confusion of not knowing what direction he wanted to go in, but I think that he managed to reach a destination of a sort all right. Even if this is only the first stop in the journey, he's at least made it this far, and he's brought his travelling companions along with him. That's good. I was so glad to see Harry confront those conflicting emotions and learn to deal with them, and to learn that Severus and Draco aren't necessarily his enemies even if they snarl and fight at each other.
Thanks for a chapter that accomplished so much and brought a sort of complicated peace to their bond. They've a long ways to go, but at least it's a start. You have a wonderful ability to get to the heart of that emotional and mental conflict and express it in an immensely understandable way. It certainly makes it easier to understand the process Harry and the others are going through, and it makes you story that much more intriguing.

Ch. 17

Wow. That was one hell of an emotional storm; poor Harry. Maybe now he can begin to heal, though it will be a long, hard road to travel.

Wow! *breathes out a sigh of relief^ I'm so glad to see some common sense ruling urges in this wonderful menage a trois you've cooked up. They are all going to need each other in order to live and thrive...and to have a chance to find and defeat all of those that wanted to destroy them. This seems to be the tip of the conspiracy, and I think that there is much more to come. Let Severus and Harry finally find some ground they can agree upon, and let Draco be that mitigating factor that gets it done. I was so glad to see Severus rein in his pride and use that formidable brain of his, and for Harry to finally be thinking with something other than he resentment. After all, it wasn't Draco and Severus' idea to do that to him...it was Harry's own.
Thanks for another interesting, awesome chapter! I was so happy to see them doing something right for a change.

Whew! Thanks for a chapter were they all at least stood in a room without coming to blows. And thanks for Severus finally finding that man of control that he'd been for so much of his life. These three men are not going to be able to make any progress with any part of this if they don't act together, and I'm glad that they're all starting to see and accept this. Harry in particular. Now that they have some answers, they at least have a place to start from, and avenues to investigate, and by working together they'll find out more and faster than if they were working separately.
I enjoyed reading this chapter, and seeing some form of detente forming. I know already that it won't be permanent, but they've taken the first step and that's good.

*snort* I should have known this would quickly become even more complicated; after all, it's one of your fics! Is Snape ever going to admit that he feels guilty about the rape even though logically he knows there was nothing he could have done to prevent it? Of course, guilt can be highly illogical. Maybe he feels that he should have been able to do SOMETHING, especially since Harry was able to twist the ritual to keep them alive.

about #15?

I have to ask..the poem this story is based on, does it have to do with Harry?

about #14....

Well I'm caught up. Though it's too early to judge, the more I read these stories
of yours with the three of them, the more you make me slooowly see the appeal of them together.
Though as of right now, Ashborn has that appeal, with the way they're fighting here, I wonder if
this bond will EVER work.

By the way, which pairing do you like...Harry/Draco, Harry/Severus or all three together?
