Very well written story. I have to say i really like the fact that your characters are human, even if they do frustrate me sometimes with their slowness, at least it is real. Stories where a bond is formed or any stories with Draco/Harry/Snape in any combinations, normally end up becoming OC. They get along really quickly and their perception of each others changes just as quickly, that there seems to be no transition. Your story frustated me a bit because the change was just not happening, too slow. It was like going one step forward, two step backward. I was surprised that Draco was the first one to accept everything, which i think was actually a wise choice. I was glad that they had a breakthrough in this chapter though I am really not sure how you are going to get them together what with the start being with a rape... it is going to be hard. but i think it should be interesting enough.

I'm glad you got Severus out of that funk he was in, it was kind of
unnerving.
...and when did Harry become Albus Dumbledoreish? It's good though..

Wow! Awesome chapter! I loved that Harry was so forceful and so organized as to take all of that trap on and solve it practically single handedly. With hardly any help from a scared Snape, who pretty much fell apart at the first sign of danger. That Snape, huh?! Doesn't have much experience with scary situations so he falls apart at the first sight of one. He also doesn't know much of anything about defending himself, or about the Dark Arts. It's no wonder Harry had to look at him so disdainfully--like the former spy and Death Eater was a frightened child.
*sighs* This really was a very good chapter except for the way that Snape was portrayed. He's my favourite character, and the one that I would save if I have the right, so I was a lot disappointed to see him written like a slow, scared newbie when he should have been an enormous asset at Harry's back, doing all that he could with all that he knows to protect them until Harry could get his spell in motion. Great idea for a spell, though! I really did mean that I liked the way that Harry stepped up and took charge. He did good. And so did Draco, when he understood what Harry had done. Thanks for the update.

oooohhhh yeahhhhh... definitely an awesome plan on Harry's part and I loved how he wouldn't really tell Snape what was going on lol. Poor Snape... freaking out and not wanting to think about how he might feel lol.
I also really liked how it wasn't Harry and Snape sailing in and saving Draco but Harry giving Draco the means to save himself and his bondmates. All three of them are very strong personalities and very independent so for each of them to depend on another is a really big deal. The fact that Harry gave Draco the ability to defeat their enemies and trusted him to do it shows a change in how he views Draco even if he doesn't realize it himself yet. And it also had the benefit of not putting Draco in a position where he is weaker than the other two which is something each of them want.
I really like how the situations show the subtle changes in each of them. It flows seamlessly. Nicely done :)

ah... do I sense a crack... a tiny little chink... Harry is seeing and recognizing how Draco would try to sincerely protect him... and Snape! Does he see a spot of genuine care for his safety from Harry? ah yes... the hard-headed ones just might have to see the error of their own thought processes and acknowledge that they COULD be wrong in only seeing the value of their own feelings and point of view. *snicker* Poor Draco... what you have to put up with... and the worry that they have to work together to rescue you... well they better shape up! lol

It's odd to say this, but it's nice to see that things have calmed down a bit now that Harry is clearer-headed. He managed to perform the impossible just in time to make very good use of their bond. Draco definitely needs their help and they need to help Draco so it's good that Severus and Harry can find some common ground to work together. Really, I can't think of anyone I'd rather have at my back than Severus...including Harry. All of this is coming together just in time to rescue Draco, and I have to say that I'm really looking forwards to the Lestrange brothers getting their due.

Doesn't Harry get that his rage is counter-productive? It will cause him to make mistakes.

You call THAT doing better??? Potter is like a dog with a bone! He needs some kind of
perspective that I thought he would have found on his own. At this point, I'm willing to
see Hermione step in & help him see clearly, because he's TOO damn volatile right now.
NO, I don't expect friendship, but I would expect a trained Auror to be able to put
feelings aside at this point, so he can get away from the mess that was created from no fault
of their own. It looks like Draco is the referee to make it happen.
I just feel like he reverted back to being a fourteen year old boy, with anger issues.
Other than that, it was a hair pulling chapter. O. M. G.

Damn! What a maelstrom of emotions from Harry. He's going to give himself an ulcer, at the very least. Great chapter!

Harry is still driving me insane. Really, I just want to turn him over my knee and give him a proper spanking for being soooo concerned only about himself. I understand where his rage is coming from, but it is long past time he grew up and pushed his way out of it because it will not do any of them any good, least of all him. I was very impressed by how Severus kept his cool and didn't rise to the bait. It's about time. He's a smart man, and he'd worked long and hard to get to where he is now. Letting petulance and impulse rule him is not one of his major character traits.
Finally, though, they are making some progress in dealing with this bond. *sighs* That's so good to see. I can't wait to find out how this progresses. Thank you for a new chapter. It was well written, and nicely thought out, and I appreciated every word of it.
