Well-constructed story, but I must agree with others that I abhor the canon pairing at the end. In my mind, there's little reason to write or read fanfiction that keeps Hermione with Ron. I urge you to post the alternate ending. One punctuation note for you: always use commas to set off the name of a person in a direct address. Finally, you've inspired me to pull out some of my old sheet music and place my hands upon the ivories again. Thank you for the formidable "playlist."
