I think that Harry knows that Sirius wouldn't....not as Padfoot, at least,....but with his past, I guess it would still trigger bad thoughts. I do wish that James and Lily had been more open with their children (not including Harry in this term....they gave up their right to be his parents) about the true horrors that their 'brother' went through. No details, of course, but enough that they would understand that Harry really does have a right to act just the way he does toward their family. I hope, for their sakes, that they back the hell off....

Ah this chaapter is so cute! The begining was full of angst. And the unicorn were here and angst was not here. Bug+unicorn: too cute.....

I am totally speechless at the levels of delusion the Potter's are living in, how they are utterly incapable of seeing the evil and frankly illegal crimes they committed towards their first born son. They seem to thing abandoning him is perfectly acceptable and can't understand the animosity.

I was glad to see some movement on the Harry front. One can only read so much depression and refusal to get help, even when harry knows he needs help. I'm super curious about the unicorns and his scar. Is there some bad magic still there that severus, remus, lucius and probably dozens of healers didn't catch? Or are they trying to heal his psyche? Poor harry, somethings gotta give. he needs a breakthrough.

Got to love how James seems to want to refer to Harry as a brat, when it is Jamie who is one.... The three children that they raised are spoiled, overly sheltered brats. James and Lily both need to stop trying to protect their other children from the crime that they and Dumbledore committed all those years ago. No matter what they try to say, they abandoned their child. They chose to leave him behind...hell, they didn't even make sure that he made it into Petunia's home safely. And, even if he had, they obviously didn't care that he most likely wouldn't be well treated there. It's not like Lily wasn't aware of her sister's bad feelings toward magic and its users. Yet, they want Harry to just be accepting and happy that they are alive? Seriously? Pfft.

I do hope that Severus and the others will figure out what's wrong with Harry soon. Lack of sleep can literally kill you.....

I'm really enjoying your story because you went in such a different direction with it. Most 'Harry wasn't found by Petunia' stories feature Harry living with a (loving) family. However this is probably one of the darker ones; it's reality shit happens to innocent, good people. Harry got the short end of the stick and didn't come out of it unscathed. He's working through his issues as best he can and now more shit is piling up and it's looking like he's boiling up to a melt down... I hope you'll be updating soon I really want to read this story to the end. I also can't wrap my head around Jamie; I want to sympathize with him because his life was also turned upside down but he is such an obnoxious, spolied brat it's hard. He doesn't want to understand, he just wants to be angry at Harry. Why James and Lilly didn't explain to their other children about what happened to Harry I don't know. Personally I'd rather my kids know from me instead of getting the info slapped to their face by someone else (and school is hell).

I like your story! I love Rufus here ( is he one of my fav character? Because i remenber seein him in another story. )I like how you write him here. I love bug ( i like how you use several animals as character).

I really like when Harry explain why he is with Sirius. It's one of the best thing that i read on this pairing.
