You have an amazing imagination! Minerva an old girl friend of Tom's? Did I detect a catch in her thoughts? Does she maybe have a child by Tom from long ago? The way the "exceptions" area works that Harry has now landed in with all the other tenant...wow! Like I said quite an imagination!

Everyone is going through so much. I can't wait for Harry to return but he is in for a major shock as well as guilt about not returning sooner. I hope there is a reason he couldn't return sooner so that he isn't eaten up with guilt.
I also really like how you show what is happening to a wide variety of people. It really shows how the 'wizarding world' is doing under the control of Voldemort and not just from the storyline of the usual main characters.

I'll freely admit I didn't pick up on any clues from the last paragraph but subtlety is normally lost on me. I expect I'll have a eureka moment later on. Can't wait for more :)

Wow, Voldemort's chair is super gross. A very dark chapter indeed, poor everybody (except the bad guys of course). Totally worried that there's gonna be some kind of ghost!Lupin or something now you made that comment. Can't wait for more :)

Pretty creepy and the people I know & like are not having a good time. Harry better hurry up and Severus (one of my favorites) is not going to be able to help much. Neither can the usual helpers...Neville, Ron, Charlie ect. It sounds like Neville will be used as a stud just about.
