This story was amazingly, hauntingly beautiful. My favorite part being the last discussion Hermione had with Snape. It made me want to cry. It was wonderful that he got her to let go so she could be happy with Draco. And lovely that Rain still has a relationship of sorts with her father. Thank you for sharing!

I really, really, really love this one-shot!!! If this is what you write when your muse does a runner, tell her to go on walkabout more often. :-)
