I really love this story, and hope you decide to finish it. All the characters are quite lovely, and I'm enjoying how you're fixing everything - even past relationships gone bad. I'm quite interested to see how Snape as a Death Eater in this time goes, and find out what happens when Hermione "disappears." Keep it up!

Poor Severus!

Sorry to hear of your hospitalization but I'm glad you're out now. Try to get some sleep. Just think: if this story so far is what you can do Without sleep imagine what you could do Rested.

Hopefully Severus will be lucky and not have to do too many vile things as he becomes entrenched within Voldemort's ranks... and hopefully he rises through them quickly when the time comes.

I'm surprised Remus managed to retain an expression of boredom with Hermione teasing Sirius... and Severus. I certainly didn't! So very funny! Cute too, in a way.

In chapter 5... if you're going by canon it's Regulus Black who steals Slytherin's locket. Unless you just skipped his first name, starting with his middle name?
Speaking of Regulus we should see him around Slytherin common room sometime, even if he is younger than the primary characters.

This is really good, I've read a few time travel stories but this is a new spin on it. I really like it. I sort of hate that Sev has to do his but I get why. It's too bad they can't just like run into him at the store and off him with like posioned milk lol.

Okay, my review from last night got lost, so here goes: It was very thoughtful of Severus to get Hermione a kitten to cheer her up, it was also thoughtful of Dumbledore to send the Marauders to amuse her. It is regretful that Snape may have to join Voldemort's ranks again in order to defeat him, but they may have no other choice. The rest of their plans are good ones. Now, for this chapter- I'm not surprised that Hermione almost became an animagus on the first go, but I am surprised that Severus did. I realize that the concentration needed to occlude as well as Severus does would probably help with the meditation needed to become an animagus, but you also have to have a talent for transfiguration and I'm not sure Severus does. Potions, dark arts, mind arts, yes, but not transfiguration. You also made the same mistake that a lot of fan fiction authors make- you have Molly and Author Weasley as members of the original Order of the Phoenix. They weren't members the first time around, because they had young children. Molly's brothers Gideon and Fabian Prewett, were members and Molly and Author probably acted as support staff and informers for the Order, but they were not officially a part of it and were not privy to any of it's secrets, nor were they entrusted with any missions. Other than that, it was an excellent chapter. It is ironic that Snape can become a bat, considering what his nickname will be in the future and Hermione being a cat animagus is perfect.
