I love this chapter, very much! It is nice to see into Lucius a bit and into why he went the path he did. Also, it is nice to see into Hermione as well, seeing how she dealt with the guests and Lucius telling her about his mum and life.

Now, Lucy needs a hug, Hermione! A naked hug. *evil grin* I just love a naked Lucius.

I just think I fell in love with Lucius all over again! What a beautiful chapter filled with greatly written intimacy. I think this is a wonderful story !

I really appreciate the way you have put this story together. It's almost like glimpses or pivotal points that when you looked back on them you realized they were significant but maybe didn't at the time. They only have another month. Humm The sweet side of Lucius was quite endearing and the fact that Hermione just wants to be there for him is as well. I can't believe we only have 3 more chapters to go.

Poor Lucius. Losing one's mother, no matter the age, is painful and difficult. No matter what he did in the past, I am glad he has support and a friend in her. I am sorry he is experiencing grief, but I hope they find some joy from it. Thank you! HG4eva

:( I would've liked to see more of Ariadne Malfoy. I am so glad Hermione attended the funeral, and I love Draco in this fic. He justs accepts her and includes her in a way that Lucius won't. Not because Lucius doesn't like her, we know he does, but he is like a throwback to another generation, where they kept their thoughts and feelings hidden. Me thinks Ginny nudged Hermione in the right direction by talking about Lucius not having anyone there for him. I wonder if Ginny has noticed Hermione reactions to Lucius or the mention of him and has decided to push her friend gently in the direction of her happiness?

I'm so glad you're back! I've missed your writing! I really love this story, it is a little slower than some of your other works, but it flows with the tone you are going for.

I like the characterization of Lucius and Hermione! I really enjoyed the love story between Roman and Juliana was lovely and well done!

Lucius' relationship with his mum was touching and a great way to humanize him, so many times fanfic writers don't really give the reader a reason to see him as more than a death eater, you allowed us to see him as a loving son.

I can't wait to see what happens next! I know you just updated a few minutes ago... but you need to update again. :D

Yuppi. I am trilled that my hunch about this story migth had more chapters here at AFF than at GE, I have had a wonderful time reading the submitted chapters. You still wield magic through your pen (or pc, but you get my gist:-)) this story is just as wonderful as your others stories have been and I can't wait to read the rest of it.

that's sad :( we finally meet the women who made Lucius who he was and then she dies. i am saddened by how much Lucius is affected by this turn of events. he loved his mother a lot and i hate to see a grief stricken Lucius. but this will bring them together because she was their for him when he needed her most. hopefully . please update soon
