Wow! There are a few negative reviews. I'm surprised. This was excellent but I must admit that I enjoy my fiction dark. I felt that Harry was very conflicted and that while he enjoyed giving up control he also needed someone who was emotionally there; Draco was not a good fit. But Daniel isn't his ideal and I wonder if they can last. Harry could get over Draco if he found someone who better satisfies his needs, but he's sticking with safe and uncomplicated. Too bad but very realistic. I loved this story. It made me think. I don't always like for Harry and Draco to live happily ever after. I'm glad that the author continues to write what she likes rather than trying to please her readers.

Read the last few sentences only just in case. Can't do it sorry. You know I love all your stories but this is too angsty, tragic even, for me. I love Draco & Harry so much together.

Whoa. Yes, I'd say "dysfunctional" is the right word. I can't agree that this was a waste of time because reading your fics is never that, but yeah, majorly depressing that Harry not only chose to accept that kind of abuse for so long but on some level regrets its loss. You don't actually say this in the story, but it seems to me that the leading-strings charm was the beginning of the end for Harry. I hope so, anyway.

shouted out to Draco how he felt.

Well that's 15 minutes wasted that I'll never get back. I'm really disappointed because normally I love your stories. I can't stand this Harry that is so messed up. Also,there is no resolution to it. I read it in the hope that Harry would come to his senses and end up with Draco. I love my happy endings and really need them at this point in my life. Drarry is my refuge of choice. :-D
