oh what FUN!
i've found myself leaning towards completed works rather than wip's lately... i don't know why.
maybe i've just gotten impatient to find out how things turn out.
anyway, i'll probably go and read some of your other stuff now cause even if it's not to my taste exactly, your stuff is ALWAYS a good read. cheers and thanks.

about the end...
Heey! SO, you did decide to give him a familiar, well personally I
thought it made sense to do so...and a phoenix is fitting for him.
*mumbles* I still think it should have been a kitten.

Harry succeeds in not only surviving. Another curse but creating a new magical creatur from it. Draco is first to see the power. Being harnessed by Harry and seeks his protection. I'm sure what he really wanted to do was jump Harry's bones and kiss him senseless.

I was acting this scene out in my head...as Draco! 'Nooo...Harry it's a trap!! If you use that spell
it will deflect back to you and kill you!!' something of that nature, with wild gestures thrown in. :-)
But, you definitely got my imagination going.
Too bad Draco hadn't gotten there earlier enough to warn him, but where's the fun in that?

Waaa Hooo! How on earth is Harry going to alive in a protected circle he can't get out & no one can enter while his own curses go against him & Draco can't tell him about it? I can not imagine but Harry is realllly powerful & Hogwarts isn't far away. He is the Hogwarts champion/protector & he is very clever and most of all he's lucky. Maybe Draco can signal him or touch his mind with some way out or to not curse him any more.

All I want to say is...do you feel confident in your writing skills to write an
action scene where the two characters get downright dirty & nasty in their fight
to ultimate annihilation in the next chapter, if so...BRING IT!
