I LOVE IT! ADD MORE PLEASE!

it's quite morbid of me, but I think if I were imprisoned by an enemy as capable and cruel as Voldemort while also fully aware that he's going to use tried and true psychological methods to break me mentally, if not physically, I might just write my friends off as dead. Because they would be as good as dead knowing how well voldemort keeps his word on deals *cough lily potter cough*

I would also be terrified because I know that unless i get out quick, it's inevitable that voldemort would "win" and break my resistance. Torture and imprisonment always work. Especially if he uses his friends as leverage right in front of him. Right now, harry doesn't even know if what voldemort said is true. Does he actually have them imprisoned? Are they really unhurt? Alive? Where exactly are they? Has Harry actually seen them?

I do give voldy credit for the masterful manipulation with the calming magic trick. He riles Harry up to a fever pitch, provokes him into a response and then uses his magic to calm him down. Creating positive feelings. Classic but damn effective.
