Wow, I can't believe it was 2013 when I first discovered this story! It doesn't feel like it's been that long. Anyway, I've read this story several times, but I was just randomly thinking about actual well-written stories and this just popped into my mind. I've decided to reread it again haha! It's been a while since there's been an update, so I was wondering how your health is right now--your profile mentioned a chronic illness :c I really don't mean to sound pushy; I'm just curious whether this story will be continued. Regardless, I will still love this story! I'm not sure how you are doing currently but I do hope things are better!

So, I just uploaded the last chapter of a fic that I started back in 2005, no joke...and ok, it has a 64k word count, but it took me over 10 years for a freaking 10 chapter story! I didn't even think I would ever go back to finish it, especially since there was a five YEAR gap between chapters 8 and 9, plus it ended with some hardcore erotica scenes which were difficult for me to write. (Actually, it took me over 10 years to finish another fanfic too, but that was some 300k behemoth that I worked on literally from preteen years through to college days so I guess it's not really comparable.) Anyway, what is my point? Just that if you so do choose to wander back to writing this at some point, there will still definitely be readers and I'll be one of them :) I hope your health isn't holding you back although I'd totally understand too if you've just moved on to other interests.

I love it, but please, Kate, give us more chapters. I read the update on the other website, and I hope you are doing well. I just wanted you to know your fans are still interested in the story.

Well, I'm still trying to patiently wait for this story to be updated and still holding out hope that eventually you will return to it. It's so hard to find quality D/Hr fics and yours really stands out as the gem that it is...I'm sure you know that already but just wanted to remind you that you do have fans eager to see more of your talent!

Just dropping by to say that I really admire your writing and love this story so much. As an author guilty of long breaks between updates myself, it feels weird to be on the flip side of the equation as a reviewer/reader, because I don't want to sound demanding but do want to give you a gentle reminder that there are readers eagerly awaiting your work. I hope everything is well in your life and that you intend to still write more. I'm only going off your profile, but I hope you get well soon if you're still struggling with your chronic illness.

As I'm sure you already know, it's hard to find quality adult Draco/Hermione fiction...something with an actual plot, character and relationship development, maybe even a bit of psychology to explain their attraction to each other. Anyway, you've struck that balance so perfectly with Pareo that I find myself rereading the chapters over and over again. However long it takes for you to update this, I'll be waiting!
