So loving this gripping story! This chapter and this small diverse group coming together to help Hermione and to learn her deep pain is heartfelt and fantastic. Draco really stepped up, huh? Cannot wait for more. I'm newish to AFF - how can I be notified of updates?

O children, let out the hate and let it burn like cinders
Let it wither and turn to ash
as the blood of war harm the best of us.
Let madness take you to a dark place
O comrades O children peace be with you

Ho hum my good writer am I impressed. I made that just for you, and your story, I love the energy, the passion the, the person flaws as each person takes the time to look at each other and find themselves in dawning times, a new they are born. I want to be honest your story is like a drug to me I love your style your reinforcement of what you write. Everything you say is backed up by a truth or fact, ever detail has merit. Every choice is consider you stick to your guns I see your hesitation but continue there's nothing you don't say or write without facts.

@chpt 9: First YAY UPDATES!! I'm loving Teodora, she is great and I love that you created someone that Hermione also can confide in! Loving the gypsy-ish aspect of her too, awesome! I'm glad that Hermione still has problems with Draco, yes of course I want to see them together in the end, but I think its realistic that she still basically hates him still..make him work for it ;). I understand why you went there with her also but I'm glad now that you've seem to have taken her out of that and are making her heal! Now with all that said...the class scene, very rarely does a story move me to get faclimped and normally when I do I'm 50 chapters deep and invested ya know? But when you had all the students say what she Ron and Harry did for them, made me all teary, even shed a couple. Very nice double thumbs up! Keep it up loving this story! oh almost forgot, there were a couple of grammatical errors in this chapter might wanna go and fix those just so ya know love :) now on to chapter 10!!! **excited squeal!!*

Oh man i totally can relate with Hermione as far as her scene with Teodora goes. I hate it when i am having a talk with an 'authority figure' and i am feeling all righteous and my bloods boiling and they manage to turn the shit I say on me so smoothly and totally put out my flame........and i can't freaking argue against their point lol. Hermione is justified in feeling what she feels towards the Slytherins and predominately Malfoy but Teodora definitely made a point and was right to call Hermione out for adding fuel to the fire(although i do love conflict ;D) when she should by all accounts be the better person. But when ya think about it, Hermione has been the better person for almost 7 years, never letting Malfoy get to her until he really crossed a line (anything serious involving her loved ones). Hell, Harry and Ron got angrier than she did and she had to hold them back and play peacemaker and the rare times he got a reaction from her she either put him on his ass or had a sick burn to throw. I sincerely hope there is no truth to the joke Hermione made about Teodora putting a compulsion on them and that there interaction is hopefully natural. I suppose it is nice to see Hermione and Blaise reach some sort of peace and I guess it makes the most sense since in canon(books at least) Blaise really did come off as a true neutral and never took part in any of the bullying Slytherin was known for and more or less just kind of hung out in the back ground.I'm guessing the ending to the chapter was that whole 2 steps forward, 3 steps back kind of deal with Hermione's panic attack eh?

Another perfect chapter.

Phewwwwww!
I'm glad Ginny & Hermione seem to be friends again. I do think they need to talk, though.
I'm glad Hermione contacted George.
I'm glad Hermione made concessions and even befriended Zabini.
I'm a little afraid Ron is going to be a git. I like his character, even when I've never been fond of Ron/Hermione. However, if for the sake of the story he needs to become the "bad guy", I guess I'll accept it.
I'm a little afraid Hermione is going to harm herself again. Doesn't she have a potion to prevent this? Did she even take it? Please, someone, save her! Or better, Hermione, save yourself! lol But we wouldn't have our good deal of drama if it was so easy, right? I do hope you'll write chapters and chapters of this story.

Now, about the Dividing Lines, what do we think? Nod-nod, interesting. We want to know more about it, even if that means Hermione being (fake?) friends with Malfoy.

Oh, by the way! I laughed so much at your "Rupert" reference! So, what do you follow more here? The books, the films or both?

I found the second half of this chapter very hard to read. Particularly when Teodora had them go around in that circle. I had a lump in my throat the whole time. It was very moving for such a simple concept.
I feel as if a lot of writers in fanfiction gloss over the war. As if it occurred, lives were lost but now that Voldemort is dead everyone is fine. People are rehabilitated, everyone is happy and their lives have moved into the category of perfection. I'm always happy with a story that shows the effects a war would really have on someone. The trauma that they must continue to survive from, and the devastation they must learn to live with. I really am enjoying how you've been setting that up. You didn't jump in to perfection and I appreciate that. I love that Harry is falling apart, that Ron has lost himself. I'm amazed that Draco wasn't magically rehabilitated and accepted into society, or that after a few chapters everyone started to like him. I like that Hermione is angry and unsure and desperate to find her footing, as well as scared and lost. I love that Teodora is making them face what happened in the war and the roles each of them played, if only in the most minimal sense for now.
I sincerely hope that you do not rush this along. I hope Hermione continues to stay angry with the world and especially with Malfoy. I hope that it doesn't just change because a month or two of nice behaviour proves to her that he's a new person. I hope that this story progresses as you would expect somebody coming out of war would progress.
I can not wait for more. I'm very impressed so far and I hope you continue to update regularly!

-whistles- This story has officially jumped to the top of my list. This chapter felt so raw and real and i must applaud you for not falling into the typical cliches quite a few other stories have fallen into nowadays. The whole talk was so nice and the ending where everyone jumped in to help Hermione was so sweet. Any chance Harry and Ron and perhaps Neville could be convinced to join these sessions? God knows those two need it just as much as Hermione and Neville could use it for a chance at closure. And on a side note i am actually kind of glad that Hermione doesn't instantly jump on the 'forgive Malfoy' bandwagon. She has had to deal with 7 years of his bigotry and it is only natural that she would have so much pent up rage against him and feel insulted that only now after the smoke has cleared that he might want to change his tune. Now i am the kind of guy who despises the concept of a 'Grey area' in morality and have been told numerous times that i see the world in black in white(trying to fix that btw) so it is a testament to your ability as a writer that i find myself feeling remorse for the Slytherin girl with the Death Eater father who was killed and Blaise who in his own words was neutral and didn't want to hurt anyone but wasn't looking to be anyone's hero. The path to forgiveness, redemption and recovery is long and filled with obstacles.

Did I say that last chapter was my favourite? Because I think I lied! I read this chapter twice and even now, it's hard to express why I love it so much.

The Dividing Lines: the mystery around them is a good distraction from the surrounding post-war trauma. I like how you don't focus your whole plot on relationships and characters' inner battles, though I do love that about your plot too
