You know... I check to see if there is a new chapter... like hourly. This is such a wonderful story, you are a really excellent writer. Anyway, the point of all this gushing is to thank you for introducing Ani DiFranco to me. Never heard of the lady until I started reading this, looked her up, and fell madly in love with her lyrics... thanks! :)

Again, just stunning! I am so excited to keep reading to know how Draco and Hermione might work through their incredible differences. The tovarsi is a great concept. Actually, I work alongside local students once a week and that is an excellent way to build compassion for one another. I wish all teachers were more like Teodora! <3

"You’d have to get used to that now that there’s no more care packages from mummy.”
.....first thoughts when reading that line:"oh snap!!! better gets some ice for that burn malfoy lol"
...then the full implications hit me and i felt like a jackass. THAT was a low blow to end all low blows. The best way to hurt and piss off a mommas boy( and lets not lie to ourselves...Draco loves his mummy lots), go right for the jugular. And when Isobel said:
“That was a comment worthy of the Dark Lord.”
i totally thought for a second Hermione would turn the hellcat mode back on and respond with something like
"yea you would know seeing as how your family kissed the dark lords arse for so long"
but luckily she saw that she had gone to far. Although Malfoy gave as good as he got and called her out on her Moral Myopia(love TV tropes) and that it wasn't only the light that lost loved ones and even if she couldn't forgive those who were guilty she could at least have a 'little' empathy for the ones left behind. War creates scars on both ends and the monsters that the light side stopped did have loved ones and while they got what they had coming to them for aiding a madman, NO ONE has the right to judge those left behind, hate them privately all you want but practice what you preach and don't rub their faces in the mud and condemn them. This right here is the Grey area you mentioned. Both Draco and Hermione stepped over a line and were looking to hurt the other, albeit unintentionally from Hermione's end and they needed those day's apart to cool down.
I honestly didn't think the tovarasi's bond would have progressed so quickly and thought that there would be a few more bumps along the way but aside from Draco and Hermione they all seem to be making an effort to understand each other. And although i am a lover of conflict and internal strife....i actually enjoy the pace at which they are uniting. Did I also mention how much of a trip it is that GINNY freaking WEASLEY is adapting quicker than Hermione in that she seems to have gotten over most of her dislike/hatred for the Slytherin tovarasi when not even a couple chapters ago she scoffed at the idea of it ever happening and showed open disdain for Blaise and i am sure didn't think to fondly of Isobel. Girl has come a long way in a short time.
And speaking of Isobel, any chance of her becoming a bit more centric? Like Draco she is someone who had ties to the dark lord as her father was a death eater and it would be interesting to see how much of their views she actually bought or if she was just going through the motions to please her family and to stay safe. Beyond Draco/Hermione and Ginny she has my interest piqued the most. I have also been re-reading the books and i should have said this a few chapters ago but.....doesn't it just warm your heart that Luna, the supposed school weirdo, bully magnet who had spent several months locked in a dungeon and possibly tortured....does not have a single hateful bone in her body. Anyone else would have cracked but that girl just has the 'gives no fucks what people say or think about her' type of mentality and next to Neville the single nicest person in Canon. Every scene she is in..she's just NICE.
Loved seeing Draco playing the hero even when he didn't need to and getting the last word in with
“Fuck you.”
Malfoy is still Malfoy till the the end lol and it was nice to see Hermione just laugh it off.
You continue to produce top line art.
oooh boy this was a long one......
P.S I did NOT mean for this review to drag on this long.
