Draco's secret fear is being tentacle-raped by Hogwarts resident giant squid? Somehow I find that more funny than frightening. I love the action scenes in this chapter. They certainly kept me on edge as I read them and wondering who was going to be the one to bite the bullet. You should publish your own work.

Hello.

Oooh I like creepy dungeon rooms complete with old rituals, skelly's and ghosts, you spoil us.

Me wonders what the other two aurors will do eventually, and if they will turn on(or be made to turn on) Draco and Harry.

As an after thought, I do hope Draco and Harry were using the same memory, that would be cute :)

about #5..

What's the deal with Warren and Jenkins? They act more uptight than
a pair of FBI agents...and that's saying a lot.

But, it would be nice if they became a 'somewhat' in sync group of
Aurors, kinda like the Three Musketeers & that fourth guy, who always
go out fighting, righting wrongs, doing the 'good' deeds, etc..etc.

By the way, I get a feeling you have a shocking surprise for us that deals
with our favorite pair of Aurors. :-)

Funny, for some strange reason I had envisioned Warren and Jenkins as a men because, in America, law enforcement agents carrying those names in crime dramas usually tend to carry the y chromosome as well. I now see them as female versions of Harry and Draco, well, mature and more experienced versions of them anyway with a well-developed partnership minus the romance. Yet, despite the short amount of time that they've been partnered together ( it has been, what, one year?) Draco and Harry seem to be using more non-verbal cues with each other and have developed a sort of harmony between them, such as falling into step or taking down multiple enemies, that you usually see in long-term couples or partners. I wonder if Draco's reluctance in accepting help from Warren and Jenkins stems from trust issues or from the fact that a recent involvement of a fellow Auror in their case ended up literally and figuratively killing her.

I have to say, Lomona, this part of the series is definitely up
there with 'Forgive Those...' & the Running to Paradise trilogy,
it has the creep factor in spades. :-)

But, what's the deal on Heraclitean Fire? what's the word on that???

I completely missed the coming out of the oneshot, and the first three chapters of this it seems!

Love it, cant wait to see Cuthbert's corner. (and incedently I love Cornwall as a holiday destination lol)

It'll be interesting to see how Harry and Draco react to new partners, and the ever present threat of Draco's parents and their need to erase him from their lives.

good work :)

Not much intimacy or action but I guess it's necessary to getting why & how the two couples are going to be working together.
