Whoa! That was intense, I will be thinking about this story for months to come. PS. I am a newbie to this site, so no story from me yet.

I was really enjoying this story and though I very much dislike it, I can usually push past some child abuse. However I can't stomach the idea any mother would put their nine year old out there or that any legal organization would condone it. It has made the story unreadable to me. There are no justifications that would ever let me allow a child of mine do something so horrific. A parents job is to protect a child, not offer them up as sacrifice. The reasoning of, well she's heard this type of thing before, makes no logical sense to me in a magical world where we just had silencing charms used in the very same story. There is no reason Tonks should have even known about this let alone be allowed to participate.

I don't mean to simply tear at your story and you need to write the story you want to tell. I do wish you luck with it. I have enjoyed several of your stories in the past and most likely will again in the future. This simply won't be one of them anymore and I do think you may want to put a bit more reasoning behind such a huge point of contention in the future. Saying a child who isn't yet eligible for a wand and hogwarts can outsmart her fully capable, magical parents doesn't gel as decent reasoning for such actions to me.

Great story, although I must admit reaching into the pedo section makes me leery I do understand the plot point and in my personal opinion it helps to make people realize just how disgusting a thing it is. This story just took a more disturbing turn, but it's still good.

How sad that it sounds like it will take awhile to get close to Harry even. All that he has to through! And Dora! Nuff said.
I hope all this doesn't come back to bite Lucius in the back with Narcissa & everyone.
