I absolutely LOVE your story! Thank you so much for keeping true to the characters! I am so happy that Hermione is taking a step back and analyzing Severus and their relationship. Hopefully Severus learns that he will always have someone on his side who trusts him completely but first we will have to see how fast it takes for Hermione to learn the truth or if she will sooner than later hopefully!

I think this is a completely understandable reaction. I feel for her, though. And I feel for him. What must it have taken for him to throw this away, something he wants and one of the few things to make him happy.

I'm too tired to comment properly. But you did indeed do her a good justice. Torn in terrible turmoil. No matter how she tries to rationalized it- her heart will not change. Beautifully and poetically done. xo

Interesting chapter. I like how she remembered parts of their conversation and is taking into account that crooks liked Sev.

Oh you're cruel. So so so so so cruel. Deliciously penned there- keeping us hovering on the edge of what he's truly about to be feeling. And my god- Hermione... Your characterization of him is indefatigably consistent, something I graciously appreciate. I know you have a dark and difficult time ahead of you as we don't know what happened to Snape between killing Dumbledore and resuming his place at Hogwarts...all I know is- poor Hermione. I have a feeling she may spend some time in the yew bushes vomiting as well when she receives the news. Hope your wrist heels up soon- we need to know what happens next!

I liked seeing this from his point of view, it was a horrible chapter, so ambiguous and traumatic in the books, thank goodness I have hindsight. You did a great job of integrating it into your story as well.

Interesting chapter. I am curious as to how Hermione will react to this. Though, given what she knows of Sev, I don't see her believing he is a terrible person like the others will. If I remember right, she didn't think so in the book either. Luna either really. That girl seems to know things.

OHHH NOOOO!! And now the angst will really start!! I really want Hermione to think carefully and realize that this is the horrible thing that Severus spoke about so long ago. I want so bad for her to continue to believe in him. The foundation that they've built over the months is a good start but is it enough? This story is sooo good, I'd have to say its possibly my favorite to date. I hope your wrist starts to heal and that you feel better soon! Terrific job as always!!
