This is one of my all time favorite stories but I have to tell you this is my favorite chapter thus far. Everything and I mean everything about it was amazing. From the nightmare, comforting, to the search for RAB, to the I love you, to the protection spell, to the last heart wrenching moments of their farewell. Every emotion, every word spoken just enhanced the entire story line. This was a terrific Christmas present! Thank you! and Happy, Happy Birthday!!

Love this!!! If you do not have a happy ending, I will be really unhappy. But I still love this!

This is one of the best stories I've read in fanfic, ever. I love how you've incorporated the original story, but have it going on, quite believably, in the background. Your characterization of Severus and Hermione are spot on; I read very few stories with this pairing where both characters are this close to canon in such a non-canon way. And the sex! Wow! Awesome. Fucking. Sex. I get excited every time this story shows up in the recently updated list. & since today is my birthday as well, this is my gift to you. I can't wait to see how this next part of the story goes.

Ok so I totally cried when she told.him she loved him , just sayin lol it's nice to see snape letting his guard down more and more even though I already knows he loves her dammit :) happy birthday and keep up the good work

I discovered this story a few weeks ago and quickly fell in love with the haunting words. I've rarely come across a version of Snape that seems to embody his complicated character so completely. Finding the next chapter this morning was a belated Christmas gift. What a moving and emotional scene. I almost wanted to cry with Hermione. To acknowledge someone is the holder of your heart is one of the most frightening things anyone can do. I do hope you continue with this story. Something this beautiful needs to be completed.

I am loving this story! Your characterizations of Snape and Hermione are excellent! My only critique is that in my opinion, the story is not that interesting when Snape and Hermione are doing plot stuff apart (like how it has been since he killed Dumbledore, minus the two scenes they saw each other since). Seeing how their relationship grows is definitely the best thing about the story. When that's not happening, I find I'm not quite as engaged as I could be. I'm not sure how you are going to address this issue since Hermione spent most of book 7 in a tent with Ron and Harry. I'm hoping you'll somehow get them back together before she sees him dying in the Shrieking Shack (like canon). Anyway, my complaint is a common one I have when a fic follows book 7 canon too closely. Book 7 was in my opinion, the worst of the whole lot and I just hate to see good fanfic stories drag because of the lackluster plot of the Deathly Hallows book. You are a talented writer so I'm sure (I hope!!) you'll keep things interesting. Also, can they please tell each other they love each other??? LOL my poor shipper's heart! Anyway, I hope your wrist is feeling better.

OMG That was well worth the wait!! I absolutely love this story!! The emotion between the two was palpable, my heart is breaking for both of them.. Maybe if they both new how much the other truly loved them they would have something worth fighting for!! Hope you are doing well! Thank you for the chapter!!
