I hope Remus can romance Severus into at least listening to him tell how he feels or just magic him into sitting still long enough. He just can't conceive of some one caring for him especially on a permanent basis. More Harry/Draco please. Poor Hermione she doesn't deserve to be left alone. What about Blaise? I always liked him...handsome, wealthy, smart, elegant. Glad Molly is getting her comuppance.

Hmm...I wonder why the elves are scared of Hermione...could it have something to do with SPEW? Good chapter, although like the others, this one has a few typos.

This chapter was long, rambling, and confusing. There was some good stuff in there, but it was just too much all at once. The stuff with Amelia confused me for a long while, but then I finally figured it out when Lucius was talking with her. I'm with you on splitting Lucius and Narcissa up, but it seems like too much is happening all at once. And it was a bit of an unexplained coincidence that Narcissa just happened to ask for a change of contracts this day.
The one thing I still don't get is why 2 wizards can't have a girl child. If you make a punnet square, you'll see that 1/3 of the offspring should be female (taking into account that 1/4 of the gametes carry embryonic lethal chromosome combinations and so aren't seen).
