Well... first of all, thank you for posting this story, I have enjoyed reading it so far. I admit that I am not familiar with Ginger, Biggles and the rest; I had to google them to understand why this story is in the "Crossover" category. :) Maybe what I'm about to say is a little bit coloured by this ignorance, but please bear with me, as I intend for it to be constructive criticism. You mentioned in your A/N that most of the story was already written out, so I realize that my review will likely have no impact; however, I'd still like to tell you what I honestly think.
During the beginning of your story, I thoroughly enjoyed your ideas and thought your story highly original. Unfortunately, this changed when you began to introduce more and more clich

First let me just say, while the review above mine bought up some good points... to make this story work, you needed a biased, chess master dumbles. Even if he were merely negligent in checking due to being time poor, he would still be culpable if those har was left with abused and neglected him.

While, it would be nice to see some further interaction with his class/house mates, it's not integral to the story.

As for the unnaturally behaving children... it depends on how they're treated. sure, they may misbehave from time to time but there are plenty of societies around where the kids come of age at thirteen to fifteen and are expected to behave like an adult in their society... if har had it impressed on him that he was carrying the dignity of a lord, then it's highly likely he'd do his level best to live up to it. he might fail from time to time but it wouldn't be from lack of trying. If a child is kept busy then they have less time for deliberate misbehavior and i think Har is kept busy enough. Not sure about Draco and Mio but kids often take behavior cues from their peers. draco would have already have been trained towards dignity as the malfoy heir and mio had lessons with Har, so she's very aware of how her behavior reflects on ppl.

to the complaint about calling Amelia all the time... seriously, who else are they going to call. It's not like muggles and squibs have far reaching connections in the magical world. Though, i do admit, i'm surprised Amelia has time to drop and and rush to help them sort spot fires. She's head of DMLA and that would mean some serious time poverty and being buried in paperwork. Still, it's entirely possible that she would have given them a direct line, since Dumbles political maneuvering is likely detrimental, not just to har but to the WW as a whole. Har is the king in this instance and as such, Amelia would be foolish in the extreme to lose track of him. His grandfather is a direct line to har, as such allowing him a directly to Amelia would make sense.
The grangers are pretty much just along for the ride.

For winning each encounter, yes it's surprising, but you forget. Har's family is going with logic and much forward planning and dumbles seems ill equipped to handle that. He keeps underestimating them and forgetting they aren't as awe struck by him as the rest of the WW. Still, i imagine he'll begin to start underestimating them less as the that the neither like, nor trust him is driven home with a mallet. dumbles may have to re configure his plans since har is no longer a horcurx and having him sacrifice himself now would be somewhat pointless.

Now, back to my actual review.

I wondered how you were going to handle that. Oopsie. I bet silly Ginny picked up the diary, didn't she. Luc really should have sent it with his wife.

I'm glad snapes gone... hell, snape should be glad snapes gone. this way he can concentrate on his precious potions.

Really, i know the DADA roll is hard to fill but it's like Dumbles is TRYING to get himself in trouble and now dear Sev is no long on staff to plot with him. Just goes to show, you should never underestimate 'Claws... even first year ones.

Oh, that meeting between dumbles and Biggles was just beautiful. *snickers. For a so called 'leader of the light' he sure is biased huh.

I wonder if har and mio will have the D.A. or whatever equivalent happening early in the face of utter incompetence. He's sooooo going to be a mark against dumbles. ^^

why in the worlds would dumbles risk giving the cloak to har. He knows har neither likes nor trusts him... and this way he's given har further ammo to use against him. If he'd just held the cloak and kept his yap shut the odds are har would never have known about it.

Has har tried flying on a broom yet and does he like it?
Har's life will be a lot easier without Quiddach practices. He's got enough on his plate.

wow, har is becoming quite a thorn in dumbles side ne? First the dursleys are arrested and tried (i bet dudley gets shipped off to marge... poor kid)and his misdeeds are brought to light.
then the whole toll fiasco gets dumbles investigated... i note dumbles didn't take note of the 'yeah, i had that dark magic removed with the rest of my injuries' which more or less torpedoes his plans for har sacrificing himself to destroy the har crux.
then he gets put on probation due to sticking a dangerous item in a school full of kids... heh, if snape expects dumbles to protect him, he's got another thing coming. He might have to pull his horns a bit now fortunately as his obsession is getting dangerous and his delusions of grandeur out of control.
I thought he would have been more interested in protecting Lily's only child even though he's also james. He seems quite happy to sell har up the river. Har is just fortunate that his family have given him a solid base. He really doesn't know har at all. After all, he's a Raven, not a gryffie to go charging in without a plan.
blinks... that was almost a let down at how easily V went down that time.
Still, know that Madam Bones knows that V is back, she can quietly start taking steps. It'll be a tangled mess to prove though and dumbles will be able to claim ignorance... though a wizard of his level should have been able to sense something.

I must say, i adore your up dating speed. Is this an already finished piece? the only thing i don't like about the updating speed is the story will be over sooner. >>
