I hope you don't plan on making any more changes to Harry than necessary because I always find it weird that one character practically becomes someone else and then the other falls for them. Makes it seem disingenuous to me.

I'm sorry, but this story does just not make sense. Harry and the others did the ritual to save the ENTIRE world from the Dementor Ghosts. In that case, if I was Harry, I would tell Malfoy "Hey, I will help pay for your mother to recover. I will buy you a new wand. I'll even pay you X dollars for your misery. However, marrying into your family? FUCK NO! Go screw yourself!"
I have a strong conscience but even I wouldn't agree to this insanity and neither, by the Harry in books, would Harry Potter. Just too OoC.
