I can't wait for the next chapter! Ron convincing Harry to quit... Good job, Ron! Yay! I was so concerned for Narcissa, now I'm at ease.

oh i can just see the tantrum draco's going to wind up having when harry tells him what ron said and he agreed to (even though draco's pretty much told him to do the exact same thing and had harry fight him about it) *evil laugh*. good to see cissa coming to, now maybe the boys can get some rest on that front at least. another wonderful chapter, keep up the good work :D

Oh for heaven sake, Draco tells him & he gets angry. Ron tells him and he has an epiphany!! AND he doesn't even tell Ron that Draco has been trying to tell him the same thing...that no matter what he does there will be those who won't trust or give him credit for his help, bravery, goodness or modesty so he might as well do somethings he wants or likes or needs to do. He seems to be closed off from his feelings for Draco. Discounting what he starts to feel as something else or refusing to think of it.

I can never decide if I love or hate this series. It's infuriating, which probably means that you're effectively making me feel what each of them is feeling. I find Draco way more infuriating than Harry, with his selfish thoughts like:

Well, that and that Harry not shut himself away from Draco and just give him what he wanted all the time. Draco wanted his willing surrender, wanted Harry
to agree with him that, yes, it was for the best that he give up the Auror job, and stay inside the Manor more often, and find something else he wanted to
do.

He's also a hypocrite, arguing with Harry that it shouldn't matter to Harry what people think of him, when one of Draco's big reasons for being angry is that Harry disagreed with him in public, and the interactions in the pure blood spheres are all about appearances. Even when he's right, he's still coming at it from a self-absorbed space. Draco's shown minute amounts of insight, but I'm still waiting for him to be someone Harry should feel anything other than duty towards.

just started on this and, as with all your fics, i'm loving it. the dynamic between harry and draco, constantly fluctuating, the ups and downs as they try to work -with- each other and learn not to just assume things is so wonderfully done and you just want to strangle both of them for being so stubborn lol. keep up the wonderful work, i can't wait for more :)

about #24..

Weeeell, I understand Draco's pov, BUT I understand Harry's more.
Trying to keep Harry home is like trying to keep a wild lion in a
gilded cage....with glass bars. The only thing that will happen
is the lion will angrily pace, until it realizes that it can break
free.

Besides is there something else Harry can do in the Ministry?

Oh, and thank goodness for the unusual elf that is Ossy.

Harry swallowed a few times...and reached out for Draco's head.
that is VERY misleading, for a second I thought Harry was going to put him
in a headlock. :-)
