NO!!!! God, not like that! It would have to have devastating consequences to Remus' and Severus' relationship/truce. Not to mention that the poor kid's been through enough. And then there's the bond with Hale, how would it affect that? I think it would cause just too much strife and complications in their lives for that to happen, especially when it would be Remus who turned him. Remus would be devastated, Severus beyond furious...just, way too much on a tentative relationship, at least and keep them together believably. I don't see the dynamic of the group recovering from that.

On to the chapter:

The interaction between the two boys is so heart wrenching. They are both so messed up. That whipping with the belt; it was so damn disturbing to read, but I could definitely see how they both needed it. It's so sad, what they've been forced to endure. Yet another reason not to add lycanthropy to the mix. They still have Voldemort and the horror the Wizarding World has become to deal with.

oh gosh I remember reading this when it was still on fan fiction, I was sad to see it unfinished . I like the changes, while at the same time I like the things you kept. cant wait till the next chapter.

yes the wizarding world would change since voldimort would likely be sending more and more deatheaters as time went on and those deatheaters would be higher and higher ranked as more time passed. the way i see it voldimort only had about a dozen deatheaters when he returned an at least half of those would be in america. the other deatheaters would be out hunting down new recruites an as time went on those better trained deatheaters would be sent on the hunt for harry potter thereby only leaving the less trained deatheaters who have to rely on fear to win fights because they are not well trained.

Oh, this story is... well there is no words to describe how much I love this story nor how good it is...

Though I will say that I hate Gloria... or strongly dislike her(I'll decide in later chapters, see if she changes bitchy personality a bit)

I can't even begin to imagine Severus pain knowing that Harry really is James son...

So they are only half brothers, but still closely related. I understand that Harry has to feel useful, however him not having the ability to use the brother wand to Voldemort may interfere with the prophecy. Then again Lane will not allow anything to happen to Harry, so he will make sure that the Dark Lord dies. I cannot help but wonder what you're planning on doing with the fact that Harry's a bloody Horcrux.

Wow. Just, wow. I love your writing. BMFS and its sequels are one of my favorite series and I'll admit that I've wanted to read BSoP but didn't because you had to discontinue it. I am very excited that you're writing it again. This prologue is really amazing. That last flight scene was intense. I'm glad there are more chapters up, I can't wait to read more and will no doubt be pouting when I reach the last update.

I was wondering how it was that Harry was Severus' son but looked like James. Oh and obviously the boys are something more to each other. So sad!

I had a feeling about Linc. It's kinda cool to see that I was right. Oh, these poor boys!

And I'm all caught up. *pouts* Ok. God, how sad for Severus. I was bothered by his rationalization to how Harry was his son, yet looked like James and was born so late, and now we learn the truth. I'm trying not to be mad at Lily, as a mother I know we will do anything to protect them, but Damn! That's so hard on Severus.

As to their bond, more is revealed with each chapter. The damage from their upbringing created their need for each other. I'm anxious to see what else will be revealed through Severus' dreams. Hale needs Laine to protect him and keep him safe. Laine needs Hale to ground him, keep him from going too far at times. It seems this relationship is very permanent, and magic has stepped in and created a true bond. You are doing a great job, I think, in revealing their relationship. It may be squicky to some, because technically they are brothers, but they grew up not knowing that, so it is what it is. If you're worried Laine may be coming off too controlling or something, he's not. It's plain Hale needs that from him. I love this story so far. As I've never read it as BSoP, I'm curious how much it has differed....
