this is one of my favorite movies. that line was spoken by the jackal or janet colegate played by glenne headly. the movie is dirty rotten scoundrels and directed by the wonderful frank oz. however i also love the orginal movie bedtime story with david niven and marlon brando. the ending caught me quite by surprize because the remake changes the story line and ending a little. both are great. oh in case you want the scoundrels they are michael caine and steve martin.
love the story, everytime i think i know who is responsible you send me in another direction. love a good plot twist. keep writing

I've been reading and haven't reviewed before... I don't know why. Your story is amazing. I've read a lot of things where Hermione is a pushover, but you make her strong and snippy and just a little annoying. I love it!

Just one thing I will comment on: it seems a little confusing between chapters 16-17-18. I understand what's going on, but it took me several reads to do so. I know the action and mystery are the important parts; I just don't want to get left behind in the mean time.

And the ending: Spartacus (1960), with Kirk Douglas in the lead role, directed by Stanley Kubrick. ... I had to watch it in high school. :)

His wife was something else wasn't she? She knew she was going to die and gave a smile to him anyway. Did she know that her death would be the only memory he had and she wanted to have that?

Wonderful! Lucius really is a flaming asshole. The movie is the Gladiator.

Okay. I'm a horrible reviewer (by the way I love this story), but I actually know this quote. It's from Gladiator and I believe it's Lucilla that says it right before Maximus dies and is reunited with his wife.
