Hi! I decided I'd leave a post since I'm already hooked to your story. It's got a great plot and so far I'm soaking it up. Can't wait to find out what happens next and thank you SO much for taking the time to write this story. :) Sincerely your new follower, Darkened Temptations.

A good quiet chapter I guess. Waiting for Harry to wake more. Good thing the older Dursleys' can't just walk in on Harry trying to to convince him that they are sooo sorry. Hoping Harry improves enough soon so he and Lucius can get together.
They can understand how each other feels (even if Lucius experience was with his wife) and they've been through similar things.

I almost hit the back button as you suggested before I read this story. I'm happy I changed my mind and read it anyway.

Thank you for the realism. I have family and friends who have battled with depression as well as having had days where things looked so hopeless that I thought about suicide, but have been lucky to have people close to me who can tell when I need help. To some extent, I can understand Harry. I also really appreciate that you show how the illness of depression is in a way contagious, leaving those close to the person suffering feeling guilty, hopeless, restless among other things, since many forget how much of a toll it takes on those looking in from the outside.

Unfortunately, I have also dealt with those who unlike your Harry have used the threat of suicide to manipulate people in an era where we have more awareness of the problem, and I have caught myself because of that thinking of suicide as selfish and cowardly even though I have every reason to know better. This sadly also makes it harder to catch the people who really needed help. I hope you continue with believable behavior from all, and as much as I love hot L/H sex, I'm glad you didn't rush to that.

Harry isn't angry at Lucius & Dudley for saving him anymore? I'm anxious to see how he is with his visitors and his health (skinny & lethargic, not looking forward only to the painful past).

Now that ive finally joined your mailing list and arent a month or so late reading chapters im just dropping a note to say how I love this, and in fact most of your stories. :)

and ron is as ever ron-ish lol. great job with this, luc's rescue and the talk with each other and the doc. one little thing, you might want to reword the last little bit of the convo between luc and mione, the last four sentences all start with "nodding", nothing wrong per se, just reads a little awkwardly. keep up the great work :)

Love this story...seems a sort of realistic after war happening. Like this novel Lucius, Dudley & Harry friendship very much. Hope it developes into a love relationship for Lucius & Harry. Yes I know...age difference...but wizards live ages
and Harry because of what he lived through & had to do had to grow up faster & beyond his age. Besides think of how Ron will howl & make a jerk of himself! I think it would be fun if Harry got pregnant...but maybe Draco would be delighted
as he'd feel some of the pressure for worrying about Lucius & being a great son would be off. And again Ron would go nuts!
It would give Harry something to look forward to also.

Your typical why`s and if`s from friends.
Let`s not be so nice and let them off the hook just yet. Hermy and Ron plus all the family is prone to self loathing and drama instead of honesty. Overdoing things because they feel guilty therefore not heeding what`s best for Harry. They need a reality check on just how little they know and why. They are not best friends any more.
I am looking forward to the guilt versus honesty drama.

One of the things I like about your writing is how realistic it is. This story has been hard for me to follow as I've dealt with suicide but it has also been cathartic. It is well written, realistic and touches the emotions. Great job and I look forward to more.
