couldn't he go back to a time when he could save his mum as well?
Maybe when he was 5 or 6?

I always thought that if Snape had never met James and Sirius at the train and that if he convinced Lily to beg the sorting hat to put her in Slytherin (and if the Sorting hat obliged) everything would have been very different. OMG, I can picture it, adult Snape telling young Lily how other houses are just so very wrong for her and how she must beg the Sorting hat to be placed in Slytherin with her friend Severus. Or maybe he could go back to the day he was born and just make his father leave Eileen and baby Severus, I always thought that they would have been better off without Tobias constant abuse. Eileen would have focus on baby Severus, on being a good mother and a witch, or maybe she would have returned to the Prince family with baby Severus to be raised as a pureblood Prince. These are just some ideas, but if you decide to write them I would be the happiest reader ever.

Excellent. I'm torn between going back just enough that Harry Potter doesn't die or going all the way back to the day that Eileen Snape died. One will make this story kinda short the other will make it long. It's your choice, I'd be happy with either.

I like Severus the way he is, i would hate to see you have him jump too far back and change his personality too much... I think he should go back to the day Harry dies! That way he changes the outcome of the war and we can have fun watching him court Hermione all over again! You could add bits and pieces of his old memories in too for fun! I think that would be fun to read, but I look forward to see where you take this story next! I have a feeling no matter when he jumps back to, this story will be awesome.
