Thank you for fixing chapter one. I didn't spot the same sort of issues in the other chapters. Thank you also for not writing Harry as a frightened little girl, but as a strong person with weak moments. I also enjoy that your Snape, while not exactly evil, is also not exactly moral and highly manipulative. Both seem a bit OOC, but it's consistent through the story and within reason for AU in my mind.

Chapter one is defective. You have Snape insist on the gag remaining in Harry's mouth. Then you have Snape make Harry respond verbally to a yes or no question, and harry dose. Then you have Snape take the gag out so Harry can talk about what he learned. How is harry saying yes with a gag in his mouth? The sequence needs different handling and wording.

It seems Snape is beginning to care more than he thought he would. originally it sounded like har was just going to be his toy and pet, now it seems like he's beginning to think of har more as a person.
