easy har, small doses or the clunky, unwieldy, half outdated ship that is the ministry will shatter. It can't be turned or moved to fast neh? Still, that was very nicely done. mwhahaha. Still, i feel sorry for the other auror's trying to work under those gimps. poor sods. to nick a line out of a movie, 'it's hard to remain a loyal foot soldier when you realize the godfather is an idiot.'

hmmm, they're so used to being confrontational with each other, it will be interesting to see what they can do to learn a different way to react to each other... and what har will do with himself now. Draco to for that matter. thieving wont be anywhere near as much fun with out his main opponent to show off for.

Well, that wasn't really what I was expecting. However, I'm glad that they've actually had a REAL conversation where they listened to what the other was saying. So, they're just as obsessed as they ever where with one another, but it's moved in a different direction. It move into a healthier relationship. Merlin, who knows.... Harry might actually kiss Draco again and really like it! *crosses fingers* It's too bad about Thorin being such a stickler for rules and won't realize that he's a bad auror! The DMLE deserves someone better!

1. A lot of people seemed to think that Draco was being far too childish for it to be funny.
- as long as you've been writing, I'm sure you have noticed..there will be a 'somewhat' vast
majority of people who 'just don't get it' AND it's mostly the younger crowd, those who ARE older
[..and I'm talking around 35%] either let it slide or learned over the years to not take situations
at face value and see the humor in things. I'm the latter surrounded by the 65% who just don't
get it.
Bottom line...don't stop your brand of humor, simply because there are those who 'just don't get it'.
2. ...and man, did this chapter feel ...brief. O_o

a pie in the face malfoy? wow, there's maturity for you. man, did his plans backfire hardcore. he went from mutual obsession to completely disregarded. oh, he's so not going to take that laying down. i wonder what sort of lengths he'll go to get har's attention, now that being a master thief wont do it.
that bit with head boring? priceless, and cathartic if har's adrenalin rush was anything to go by. ^^
i wonder what har will do with himself now.

Oh,I know that Draco isn't going to let it just rest there. He wouldn't Draco if he did, but Harry should know that he really shouldn't ignore Draco. That is the one thing he really hates. *sigh* Are we sure they're not still 13 and bickering over Quidditch games and House points? I'd like to smack them both and tell them to act like the grown ups they are supposed to be, and I think that 'Mione might not be too far off from that point with Harry. He's certainly not acting like a mature person, as far as Draco is concerned, but I am glad that he's gotten out of that craptastic environment that Thorin had made for Aurors. Bad supervisors make good cops go bad... I guess it's the same for the Aurors, yeah? Can't wait for the next chapter! ~ Mako

Wow, so Draco kinda gets what he wants, but not that he'll profit from it. My poor baby! But, something tells me he isn't about to let this rest where it is right now. He still wants Harry and he's determined if nothing else. Silly, stubborn, moronic Harry.... Thanks for your kind words about my shoulder. It's better now and I've gone back to writing. That's probably why I haven't started your new fic. Sorry! <3

Oh my God! How clever! Get Harry into a restaurant where you
have to feed each other like a couple. Yeah, I could definitely
see the vein on Harry's forehead! :-)
Though, I must say the last scene seemed too short AND I was kinda
hoping for a continuation of the scene in the last chapter, but it's
all good.

i'll say. well, for once that backfired magnificently on malfoy. If har follows through with his plan, i wonder what draco will do next. He sounds a bit desperate here, though they both had rather unrealistic goals. the difference is, har is willing to admit that now and try and move on.
