That's heartbreaking, but you made it so true. Sirius couldn't follow Harry to Voldemort. I'm glad he also is not able to stay with Dumbledore. It actually makes sense to portray Sirius this way. He's unable to give himself wholeheartedly to the Dark, and he's unable to act and spy on the Light (or at all) - this feels like the truth that forced Sirius away from his family and into Gryffindor and the Potter's home. You've made him a consistent character, including his being a tragic figure. Love how intelligent Harry seems when he's with Sirius. Oh, and Harry during the Death Eater meeting was awesome. It makes sense given his horrific years with the Dursleys that he'd develop into a magnificent actor and have some serious personas, and that he'd just blossom with these skills as he learned to embrace them.

Harry was completely astonishing and amazing in Chapter 28. He spoke to Sirius so clearly and eloquently. It's funny how he was a very different Harry with Sirius than he is when he is with Voldemort. With Tom, there's a lot of er's and stutterings and head duckings. I get it, though. He's in the driver's seat with Sirius, and he's in utter awe of Voldemort. And in love with him.

This is chock full of interesting, creative and unique ideas. Love Harry's relaxing, blank mindscape and his growing intimacy with the presence in his mind. So cool that he can't remember why his young self was afraid of it and caused such an expenditure of magic to keep it locked away. So beyond cool that his freed magic is giving him such amazing results. Love his affinity to mind magics. Is any part of that inherent to Harry himself, or is it almost completely due to Voldemort's soul shard influence?

So worried that the spreading tendrils and the rest of the description in Harry's mindscape is working its way toward possession and that the original Harry will be lost. Then there are the descriptions of Harry's emotion-communication with the entity, and if that can be taken as true and sincere, then perhaps Harry will be OK.

ty, ty ty ty ty for bringing this across and to ppls attention again. no point in having an epic sequil to read if they haven't had a chance to sample the awesomeness of the first story. So, again, ty both of you. ^^
and ty for allowing her to continue the sequil. it;s just to good a story to leave unfinished.
