Ok, I know Athey gave this story to two people. I read the other one first and was disappointed, fortunately I went ahead and read yours and am very happy. My only sadness is chapter length but to be honest how many people actually write chapters as long as hers? The only other thing I'm waiting for is a lemon (I know some writers have trouble with them). Since this is AFF and Harry's an acknowledged maschocist I'm hoping the lemon will be more BDSMish. I hope you keep writing for a long time to come & MERRY X-MAS!

*beams. luc and cissa really do have an excellent working relationship. V and har's is heading that way too.
*winces... oh wow, i wonder how much having Siri in the mix will complicate things... though if the rat/worm responsible for setting me up and sending me to hell for 12 years or so suddenly appeared in front of me, i'd probably hex the little bastard to.

Mostly introspection in this chapter, but sometimes it's nice to slow down so the later action has more of an effect. Great ending, though, and I'm eager to see what happens with Sirius. I don't know if he'll remember the new portkey Harry gave him to the Abbey and escape the Aurors that way (and maybe interrupt a moment between Harry and Tom?), or if he'll get a glimpse into Harry's power if one of the Aurors is a Death Eater who will obey Harry's orders to buy time for him if Sirius is ever captured. I do anticipate Sirius will be living in the Abbey soon, though, and can't wait to see how he reacts to seeing Tom's real form and how he acts around Harry. I definitely get why Sirius would have a hard time imagagining the Voldemort he's seen on the battlefield in any kind of romantic relationship, let alone one with real feelings and not just politic alliance or lust.
Good chapter and, as always, looking forward to more!

I can hardly tell much of a difference because you're that good of a writer! Hurry up and update before I sic my demonic dogs after you! :)

*shakes my head at siri... seriously dog boy, just take your bloody godson up on his offer already... even if he doesn't want to cohabitate at DE central har or V is sure to have some other property laying about where they can stash him... mooney to for that matter. of course, he's gotta get away from this lot of aurors first. >>
