That prophecy was really easy to understand who it was talking about. Why it's Harry as the new Master Over Death. He already owns two of the Hallows, the Stone and Cloak, now all he needs to do is get the Wand which Dumbledoreknob has. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone so I'll keep what I think the Hallows Prophecy means to myself.

Interesting, and I enjoyed that prophecy. How was that difficult to understand? Dumbledore became Dark in a sense with the manipulations he's wrought, gave rise to Voldemort. Harry 'vanquished' him as a baby, but he didn't die, so Death failed. Harry being manipulated by Dumbledore by the prophecy, betrayed by his friends, leaves the side of the Light and joins the Dark. He has the Cloak and the Ring already, will end up getting the Wand, thus claiming the three Hallows, becoming the 'Master of Death'. With Harry's assistance, the Balance will be restored, and it'll be all good. ;) If I got it right (or at least the gist of it) don't be discouraged, I love riddles, rhymes, and mysteries. Masquerade (the children's book) was one of my favorites growing up, along with watching 'Murder, She Wrote', reading Nancy Drew, and anything rich with mystery. Keep up the good work, I can't wait to see what else you have in store...I don't remember if Severus know's Harry is Evan, I'll have to go back and reread, but the mental image of his face when he finds out just popped into my head for a bit of humor.

I am enjoying your continuation of a very favorite story. The only thing that has made me a little twitchy when I read is that you keep referencing individuals in the story as 'being' or 'beings' instead of 'person/people'. 'Being' is defined as a living thing, and used on its own, tends to have connotations of that living thing not actually being human (a being from another planet, for example).
Like, 99.9% of people (not beings!) would say "Albus was a *person* he had a great deal of respect for...", and not "Albus was a being he had a great deal of respect for..."
Just something to possibly keep in mind.
