This story remains a favorite of mine. I am quite looking forward to the big reveal prior to Dumbledore's death. That said, I've noticed over the last couple of chapters that you've developed some stylistic tics that make the writing less fluid and the dialogue less believable. Honestly, if I'd been given this piece blind, I'd think it had been written by SpeedyTomato. For example, there's been a marked increase in the colloquial use of "plenty". Also, you seem to have adopted ST's signature construction using "that" (e.g., That we did not need rather that We didn't need that). In any case, I'm not a fan of these particular stylistic peculiarities when they're used to excess. I hope you'll take what I've said as constructive criticism, as that is how it is most certainly meant.

yet another spike in dumbles wheel... he's going to do something really stupid and desperate soon. especially when his plans to corral har with the weasleys falls through. whatever it is, it's going to make a mess. you can bet on it.

I've just finished reading your continuation of Breeding Darkness and I loved it!
You are a very different writer from Athey, I could describe your writing style the following way:
You're not much of an action writer and you write more ABOUT some events than report those events as they are happening in real time. So it all seems like you mostly report people's emotions and their mental states and their thoughts about the future or past events. That's not a bad thing. It's just very different from the author you inherited the story from.
I actually enjoyed those parts where you mull over ramifications of a certain past event or where you describe the anticipation of the future ones. But also it was a bit frustrating - waiting for something to happen can be a bitch! Usually beginner writers fall into such a trap when they make their characters make elaborate plans for future plot and when this anticipated thing happens there's no release 'cause it all went as expected - so it's as if you don't need to write the action itself because you'd written it all when planning! Frankly speaking, you have such a thing here. I hope I didn't offend you and I'm not a writer myself so I'm not in a position to offer any advice. It's just my impression. Also I prefer reading inexperienced writers all right! 'Cause why then would I read so much fanfiction? LOL
I commend you also for the steady continuation of this story! I was very happy to find out that you've added about 35 chapters to it and your chapters have a steady plot line and they are planned in advance and so very well thought over. I've just joined your group on yahoo and would you please tell me what's your usual update schedule because I'll be waiting for your updates impatiently! Thank you for the pleasurable read. I've said it before, but I will say it again...I LOVE THIS STORY! I'm kinda sad that the updates are so far apart but I totally understand that RL is a pain sometimes and writing takes a while. I went back and re-read the entire series to get a refresher of what was going on and it made this chapter even better! I am so happy that Harry finally got to take his revenge on the Dursleys. LOL Keep up the fantastic work!

New reader here !!!!! let me start with , that I log this , had to find part 1 of the story - read that and just finished this one ...so far I'm loving it ..this is the first time I've read one of Harry / Tom never in my wildest dreams would have never thought that I would like it ....Hermine and Victor LOVED IT this thing that she always had to be with RON is hsit ( you can guest that I don't like Ron there !!!!!!! please please update soon !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
