Found your story yesterday, and (angst whore that I am) I am loving your plotline. while repetitive pain and anguish is not desirable (yeah, right!) it gives us a chance to grow, to mature, learning responsibility and consequences. I think your Severus might be a little soft, but at least his snarkyness comes through. Also, his previous 'hardass' attitude might have been partly an act for his cover as spy and long-term bitterness. He obviously has the capacity to love or he wouldn't have felt such depths of loss when she died.
Well, Chapter 40 and Harry is depressed with his health deteriorating for lack of maintnence. I'm disabled, and I understand how daily, cronic pain can wear you down, even with a high pain threshold. Throw in emotional depression, you have a deadly combination. I'll be waiting for the next chapters eagerly.

I really liked this story. Please note the past tense. You really turned this piece of literature into a piece of crap when you hit chapter 33. It was, up till that point, an emotionally moving, dramatic piece of art. Now it is a wishy-washy, stephani-meyer-esque rag. It had so much emotion, but then you hit a spot where all the emotion turned into an inconsequential piece of fluff where even your own characters were not themselves. I would seriously think about rewriting the ending. The path the story takes is acceptable at best, but the way you propose it is horrid. You had the characters to a T in the beginning, now they are one dimensional, angst ridden squabblers. Then you got repetitive with the problems: misunderstanding, Harry gets hurt, Harry recovers, disgusting teenager-esque smut, misunderstanding, etc. Please, seriously think about revising the ending. Don't throw away a great piece of literature like this with a scrappy ending.

Bah, I needed a tissue for that one. I'm surprised Sev thought that Harry would let people check up on him, of course he wouldn't answer the door or give a response to someone, when he'd been giving Sev the silent treatment for so long already. >.< (BTW, not saying it was out of character for Sev, because I can see someone really being that naive when consumed with their own pain) So someone has to force Harry to talk about this new pain, and get him to move past it before anything gets better. Hit rock bottom and scraping the bottom of the barrel all at once. Better be going up from here or else he'll be in another dimension ;)

Hi! I just found out your story and I love it! I read it in two days and I have to say, you are a really great writter :)...I enjoyed a lot. Poor Harry, he is suffering a lot :/...and when he lost his child, It was very sad. I hope that Sev an Harry would have their own child and the curse on Harry can be removed :)...well, hugs and cya!
