Awesome, can I recommend showing Ashleigh and Her mates with the whole incident in Part 46: control. It could be interesting because it would show how their emotions change so much towards Harry. Another recommendations would be to show what Harry's other mates were thinking during the choosing of the mates.
Anyway it is great so far hoping for more as soon as possible.

Do both Doms and Subs get guided through their first hunt or only the Dom's? Har's hunting doesn't count as he wasn't raised Dracken and was running on pure instinct.

Speaking of Theo, whatever happened to Nott? You made it out as though he were in love with Blaise in the beginning of the story. Will he be making a return apperence?

Yeah, I like the actual version on 53 much much better. This one would have broke something in the family. I can imagine Harry feeling bad enough about attacking Salex and needing to make it up to him somehow once he remembered but killing him would have taken a long time for him to get over, if he ever did.

Is anyone having problems accessing the original fic "Rise of the Drackens"? I'll be extremely upset if I can't finish reading the story. It is in my top five and I've been reading fan fiction for 4 years. Ugh

I confess, when I read the final version of Chapter 53, I thought they weren't all going to make it. I am much more pleased with the final version, than this alternate ending, and I can't imagine how you must feel, to have written this absolutely heart-wrenching and dark birth scene before toning it down and back to something a bit more... pleasant :)
I can't wait until the next installment of both the Scaled Bits and the rest of the story!!

I am glad that you went with the chapter that you did for the main story because the repercussions of killing Sanex would have been huge for Harry and the family, but i am also glad you decided to post this because it really is great writing, the fact that you can write a chapter like this is pretty awesome!! Thanks for posting both of them :)
