I like the direction that the story is taking. I agree with your observation of Madam Pomfrey ( correct spelling from the books), she should have recognized the signs of at least neglect, if not out right abuse.

Thanks for the super quick update again!! So glad that Severus is on Harry's side - I also thought that the classroom scene where he confiscated the potion was spot on! Absolutely something he would do! I like your portrayal of Dumbledore too (although I've never really liked him - always thought he was too wrapped up in the cause to really care about Harry and left him completely unprepared for the Horcrux hunt). Can't wait for more!!

I love it! I know this is one of those completely useless reviews, but at least it lets you know people are reading it? I've always wondered about Andromeda Black, and really like that you gave her a bit of slyness. I thought for certain that the Blacks could never make a normal offspring.

yeah, i gotta admit, she SHOULD have been able to catch the signs... and unless she was oath bound or controlled in some manner or a complete Dumble pawn, then she should have reported it to someone... though who would you go to? I mean, who's going to believe her if she maligned dumbles and the first person she would have reported such findings to anyway, would be him and then trust him to do what's appropriate.
heh, with as much as he has on his plate, Har might want to invest in a time turner of his own. :P I think Andi will prove to be a better choice than even M first figured.
I expect Har and Siri's meeting to be... explosive, to say the least. ^^

Hey! This fic is really amazing! I love that you're portraying Harry's relationship with Voldemort/Tom/Marvolo really realistically, including giving a good amount of attention to their problems (Older Voldemort hating Harry, Voldemort killing Harry's parents, etc.) and that they haven't jumped into bed after like three chapters. The way that you're building up their characters and their interactions with each other will just make it all the more satisfying when their relationship does get to that level.

I'm also really liking the way that you're portraying Andromeda and using her in your fic. One quick nit-pick, though

I thought the chapter was good, the need to lay a fondation I can understand.
A bit curious, since voldie never called for the Basilisk (he didn't right?) can he/she/it come out and play?
I would love for Harry to have another pet... lol
