Yay, things are finally moving along with Severus! Granted, it's at a snail's pace, but at least it's forwards not backwards, 'cause we never know what to expect from you, lol. Speaking of snails:
"' . . . He said he and Remus would see what they could wiggle out of the old man with what they found.. . .'"
You've used this (wiggle) more than once in this context. I think the word you really want is "winkle," which is British slang for extracting something that is difficult to obtain - often, as in this case, information. It derives from the difficulty in extracting the meat from wrinkles, a type of edible snail.

Excellent new chapter! I wonder, however, if Harry will ever be safe with Dumbledore still alive? He will be convinced his ideas about the prophecy must be right and Harry has to die. Thank goodness Harry is safe with Lucius and Severus, and that Remus and Sirius are helping all they can. Wonderful new chapter! Can't wait to know what you have planned for them next!

I think it's a good idea for the trio to come clean as it were, with Amelia. She would be the ultimate protection in the aftermath.

Yay, Severus is finally on board with everything! I love it; just cuddling, though I'm sure Severus would refuse to call it such...*claps* Also letting you know that, yes, I'm still reading; I've just taken a break from reading and writing for a bit. Thought I'd get this in before I head to bed; another wonderful chapter and I eagerly await the next!

Marvelous update! Thank goodness Sirius and Remus are destroying the horcrux's, I never could understand in the books why Dumbledore knew about them but left it to children to destroy them. It is good that in your story the adults are taking charge. Hopefully Dumbledore will do some good and be able to protect Hogwarts. Excellent new chapter! Can't wait for more!

This is such a fun story. Harry, at this point, seems almost a bit too relaxed, but I'm partially chalking that up to the novelty of having some adults around who want to protect him, actually listen to him, and pay attention.
The bit that doesn't make sense to me, really, is that Voldemort might have blocked his magic -- if he was trying to kill him, why would he stop to bind his magic, first? And he wasn't corporeal to do it afterwards.

Thanks for explaining the binding! I don't really get why Tom thought that sheer power would save Harry but I'll accept it, especially since Tom might not have intended an AK to start.
Poor Severus. Was he in love with Lily or just friends? Right now that isn't totally clear to me and I'm not sure if we're being teased or if I missed an indication. :) I'm glad he is so outraged. Even though this isn't totally EVILLLL Dumbles - he is comforting himself with the idea Harry won't really die - he's still terrible.
One other thing that baffles me is his expectation that suddenly removing the blocks on Harry's magic would be anything but an unmitigated disaster, because its been pretty well demonstrated that it would burn out his wand and be totally unmanageable at that.
