I've been ripping through this story in my spare time for about three days, and I have been thoroughly enjoying myself in doing so. I love well written and descriptive fiction, especially if it involve Hermoine Granger in any way shape or form. I also am really enjoying your main character and the degree to which you've developed her.
I've just now finished chapter 25 and am quite confused on the matter of her brother Dale.
In your description of him you've made mention that he has never gotten along with their cruel father, and that he lives his life devoid of him entirely. He expresses compassion for her condition, mate selection ect.
Now all of the sudden she has an intense fear of him and that he may treat her much like the father that he hates?
I've just been puzzled on that matter throughout the entire chapter, there hasn't been any mention of why she would perceive that outcome. In all though I am very much in like with your story and cannot wait to continue reading it.

Thank you so much for writing such an amazing story. I found it just four days ago, and I have already read through all that you have posted. It really is a beautiful love story, complex, sometimes bitter, but gradually driving the darkness from Jamie's soul. I am also glad to have found your work at a time when I am a bit confused about what love means to me, and stories like yours have done a lot to reassure me of what I truly feel. I can't say how much I am looking forward to reading more!

I like the flow of the story, however there's no way the Headmaster would not demand details on how a student became a lycanthrope!
Perhaps, between Snape and Albus, they read Jamies mind?
Speaking of Snape, he's kind cool? Odd, no frame of reference there lol.

Jamie will need Hermione now more than ever... but will she let her in?
Quite a mess she's in, and quite a good story.

oh shit.
Wow, you really hate this girl, don't you? *laughs*
You know things are bad when even Ron has sympathy for a Slytherin!
Snape really is holding up his end as a teacher... color me shocked!
I guess if nothing else you have taken every last shred of Slytherin from her - she has absolutley no reason to be loyal to her fellow snakes when she is treated so openly as an enemy in her own house.

Snape continues to climb in my esteem.
Umbridge continues to merit a shotgun to the face. At least some things never change. *grin*
The room is terrible, but I was happy to see Harry at least accepting Hermione's friendship with Jamie.
Now that it's back, and beyond it's initial stages of romance, how will they handle things?
You are building quite the character story, but I cannot help think Jamie is right to keep her back to the wall.

The way Jamie keeps referencing the Greco-Roman gods is very interesting, it speaks to a very different upbringing in an unusual way.
I love your dialogue. These two work very well together, if only because Hermione is willing to truly work through the difficulties. She sees the value in Jamie, past the surface. That she's willing to work past the tough parts below that surface show she really has deep feelings for Jamie. Very cool stuff.
Their insecurities remind us that their still kids in some ways, at the least they are both in their first relationship and have oh-so-much to learn!
