This was so beautifully written! I think that the reunion between the two of them after all of those years in prison is one of the most interesting--and challenging-- subjects to tackle with a Sirius/Remus pairing, and you did a wonderful job. I love the juxtaposition of past and present, and the sex was hot :)

My only critique would be that I don't know if the last few lines are necessary. I was so in the moment at the end, that it threw me a little to switch into a future reference. I think the story is so bittersweet that the reality that Sirius will die is there all the time, and doesn't necessarily need to be said. But that's also probably more of a personal preference thing on my part. :)

On a random side note... I swear there must be a serial rating-troll running around, because all of the good fics I've read lately have had lower star ratings. What's up with that???

Anyway, I really enjoyed it, and I'm looking forward to reading your other stories!!
